That was fun. You are all working SOooo hard!! I've emptied a hoarder house and I know how easy it is to get discouraged. After a while, we discovered that if we just concentrated on getting one room empty, it gave us the push to get another one done, and that gave us the push for a third, and so on. That's hard to do when you have a time limit on the dumpsters and have people coming for furniture, etc. You're doing a great job and it's so much fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Good afternoon. I've been clearing out my home office. I have antique paperwork from the 80s and 90s. It brought back memories from the days before the internet. Your videos help us all think about all the junk we need to clear put before we die and leave the mess to our loved ones.
@@stormdancer0 I use that term loosely. I found documentation from learning computer software like dbase and lotus 123. I had forgotten all about those days.
When i was in college, my ex mother in law gave us a big brass wall hanging. It was ugly, but I strung speaker wire through it and hooked it up to my old tv to pick up the local channels because we couldn't afford cable. It worked pretty good as an aerial antenna
The Three Musketeers are reunited - yay🥰🥰🥰. That carved chair was really something. It was in mint condition, especially the upholstery. Not sure where it would go, though. Maybe a Santa chair. It looks more like a throne. And those boxes full of items wrapped in newspaper - well, they are like “lucky dip” boxes. You never know what you are going to find. Thank you Alexander for another great video. Look forward to seeing you, Patrick and, hopefully, Josh again soon. With best wishes from Down Under 😘💕🇦🇺.
Alexander, you and Patrick are doing a great job! It is always great to have a Josh with you!:-) I am glad your family jewels are intact and not even holes in the jeans. Lucky you! Sleeping on a water bed is interesting. One little move and the whole bed moves. You get use to it. Keep up the great work!
Wow, those copper peacocks! My parents on other side of world (quite literally) have one of those on their wall. Have had as long as I remember too, so at least 30 years 😃 I rarely see familiar stuff in here, so that was a big surprise 😄
Oh and now you uncovered my grandmas clock! Well same kind of at least 😉 Perpentular motion clock or what ever you called it 🙂 This is clearly a bit more nostalgic episode for me 😁
The vacuum collection. Classic. Laughed out loud. I hate to break it to you but: THE ATTIC! maybe more vacuums! The hatch to the attic lurking in the background sort of freaks me out. 🎃
Hey Alex, Love your videos! Top Tip, if you put things like that bar stool and good lumber in the front yard with a free sign someone will take it, and you won't be sending perfectly good things to the dump. Or paying to haul it away. I've moved over 30 times in my life, trust me it will be gone within 24hrs. Especially lumber...
Every time I see one of these episodes I wish I were there to scavenge some items! The canning jars are worth their weight in gold to people who can. 🙂
It's almost like the doubling charm in Harry Potter. Touch one thing and all of a sudden there's a million more. As for waterbeds, I loved mine because it was always warm.
As someone with no idea of the price of certain antiques, it was nice to hear what you think some of the stuff may go for. I would love to hear more of that as you go through the rest of the boxes.
Lav this episode thank you Alex and also Patrick, nice to see Josh came. My fav scenes are the vacuum cleaner show and the baby stroller thats so hilarious. Thank you again for sharing this amazing adventure
It was nice seeing Josh again!😄🫶🏼 Everybody needs a Josh and a Patrick!🥰 I still think that all the good stuff was taken out of the house before you came.😊 I have been following you for quite some time now,Alex..and you still make me laugh!😂I loved the moment the three of you were trying to get that pram out that little room…I was just shouting, guys you can get the top part off!🤣
Those pink couch cushions are a gold mine! I bought one unupholstered foam cushion at JoAnn's Fabrics that size and it cost $70. US dollars! For ONE cushion!
Not laserdiscs. CEDs. Basically they are movies on vinyl records that play via a special stylus. The plastic shell protects the record when you slot it into the player and leaves the record inside when you pull the case out. Not a perfect summary but they were an interesting technology). Horror titles sell well so people can get them signed at fan conventions.

6:30 Looks like that is from the November 27, 1916 Zeppelin raid on Hartlepool. The Zeppelin was shot down and pieces washed up on the shore. I'm guessing that is part of said airship. Not sure what the bottom bit is - perhaps also salvaged from that same wreck?
This is really a great series... as we all watch you work so hard! But seriously, I think a lot of us somehow share in your sense of accomplishment as boxes and furniture go and rooms finally get cleared out. SUPER FUN to have Alex, Patrick and Josh together again, only missing Hans. :) Thanks for another great video, and hope all of you get (got) some good rest over the weekend.
Ah dang I always have a dream of finding a bunch of old Barbies. I love to restore them. Sadly I have become bed ridden and can't go searching for them anymore. It would be a great project for me to do since all I do is sit these days. My Mom had the peacock wall hanging and a clock exactly like the ones you found. I also remember a a baby sitting in a pram exactly like that one as well, in the 60's. I knew they came apart because I used it for my dolls later on in years. Hope Josh is feeling much better - he is a nice guy.

That's hard to do when you have a time limit on the dumpsters and have people coming for furniture, etc. You're doing a great job and it's so much fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Loved seeing you three together again. Another great episode. One room down, you really are making headway.
Nice to see Josh looking well. Looked like he was having a good time. I thought the pram came apart.
Cool to see Josh, he and Patrick are good guys to have when working on a project like this, here's hoping we'll see more of Josh.
Good afternoon. I've been clearing out my home office. I have antique paperwork from the 80s and 90s. It brought back memories from the days before the internet. Your videos help us all think about all the junk we need to clear put before we die and leave the mess to our loved ones.
"antique??"
80s and 90s?
You're kidding, right?
@@stormdancer0 I use that term loosely. I found documentation from learning computer software like dbase and lotus 123. I had forgotten all about those days.
Amen to that sister! Thankfully my 76 yr old mom has started doing the same. 😊
It’s especially fun during an earthquake
My parents had water beds in the 70s and we had dogs, so that was fun 😊
Hey Alex,
Love your videos!
There’s light at the end of the tunnel! Incredible job guys.
Great episode, always fun to see you and Josh together.
23:51 YES I HOPED FOR THE KIRBY!!!!! Tanks for Reading my mind❤️
Kirby Rules! 💯
Very enjoyable episode and so nice to see Josh again! 😊
If I were you Alex, I’d keep that beautiful old chair for your home! It’s amazing! 😊❤
Oh Alex! you knew that closet wasn't going to be empty you silly man.
It was nice seeing Josh again!😄🫶🏼 Everybody needs a Josh and a Patrick!🥰
I still think that all the good stuff was taken out of the house before you came.😊
I have been following you for quite some time now,Alex..and you still make me laugh!😂I loved the moment the three of you were trying to get that pram out that little room…I was just shouting, guys you can get the top part off!🤣
seeing you keep your chin up working through such a daunting task is pretty inspiring. nice to see josh in vid.
Chin up? He's working! I think Alex thrives on these distractions. As much as he loves his family, it's pretty clear he needs to work too.
Those pink couch cushions are a gold mine! I bought one unupholstered foam cushion at JoAnn's Fabrics that size and it cost $70. US dollars! For ONE cushion!
Alex your so much fun! Poor Patrick walks his legs off! Lol. Thank you! ♥️
......YOU'RE so much fun.......learn English.....
I didn't know we were taking English lessons while commenting on a nice video. I'll write it the way I want. Mind your manners!
@@urbanurchin5930 mind your own manners. I'll write my comment the way I want to. Thank you!
Was going to write the same, Techmoan has an episode devoted to the format.
I was pretty deep into watching the vacuuming but it was the stroller stuck in the closet that had me!! hahaha
It was awesome seeing Josh's reaction to the Predator. It's certainly an impressive work.
Good work all three of you. An incredible amount of stuff. Josh you’re looking good! Alex and Patrick, always fun to watch you two excavating. Thanks for another episode and now I’m off to clear the accumulating junk in my office lol!
If I had the carpets, I'd go with the Kerby! Best vacuum cleaner we've ever owned, I remember a the brown one we had when I was a kid. I just had my split entry home hardwood floors refinished last week. About to move in! I have like zero furniture! I could use a hand Alex 🤣 That green chair would be a perfect extra chair 😊 Love the video!
My mom had a Kirby. Wouldn’t pick thread up off the floor!
Patrick just endeared himself to many, many women for his excellent cleaning skills! 👏🏻😁
Alex, there should be a rule that every hoarder house MUST also have a large solid Silver, or Gold bar in it.
I laughed so much when Josh showed up. I miss him!
Your killin me Alex! Lol!!! Great video- peeling back the layers of many 60’s-70’s clean outs it looks like- what your not finding in quality you’ll make up for in quantity! Great to see the three of you together again! Cindy ps, I’ve used everyone of those vacuums in my lifetime!😂😂😂
Don't get discouraged Alex. The reward will be worth it. I'm still enjoying every moment with you, Patrick and the gang
My favorite moment this episode is when you tried cleaning with the vacuums you found in the house itself 😄
Thanks for the upload Alexander. I have been waiting for this today. You just made my day!
Woo! This series is great so far. Good job!
Thanks Hazel :)
Save your money and grow a goatee like uncle same. top hats are all the rage! hahahahahaaa...
seriously that clip is making me giggle so much.
love all these videos. thank you for sharing this with us again on the chaos and surprises that go through a hoarders house.
Where I live in the US, we put things out by the curb for anyone to take Free, when I saw you carry the bar stool, it would have been a great curb find.
Love to see Josh! You two work awesome together and hilarious too!
Yes I believe that’s salvage from the zeppelin
This is really a great series... as we all watch you work so hard! But seriously, I think a lot of us somehow share in your sense of accomplishment as boxes and furniture go and rooms finally get cleared out. SUPER FUN to have Alex, Patrick and Josh together again, only missing Hans. :) Thanks for another great video, and hope all of you get (got) some good rest over the weekend.
Alex you are sounding tired. It is a MASSIVE project and I am in awe of the amount you guys have accomplished.
If I knew where you were I would send you my box of Barbies from the 79s. So sorry you can’t get out and about!
@@gloriaelswood8762 Aw Gloria so sweet of you. I'm in Canada - shipping is always too much, but I appreciate your kindness.
I have a Kirby vaccum and I love that thing, it is amazing. You are finding some nice stuff for sure. You are in the back half of the clean out once ALL the furniture is gone. Doing great. Have a great day
Maybe the chair was for Santa clause to sit in to take pictures with the children, they had all that Christmas stuff so just a thought.🧑🎄🤶🎅🧑🎄🤶🎅
For a moment I felt like I was watching promotional video for sweepers lol!
Great to see Josh!
