I love how the adrenaline kicks in with a good find . Linda you are so good at thrifting and have wonderful ideas how to repurpose the items , even if you don’t take them home.
A fun decor idea is to add Little Golden books in a topic related to the holiday (Easter, St Patrick’s Day, Flag Day, Thanksgiving, etc). Just lean the book against existing pictures or add to a basket you already have out. These can be picked up at the thrift store for less than $1. Also, I always go to my thrift store on Tuesday which is senior discount day of 30% off. Find out your senior day and take advantage of it.
I like setting metal trivets or baking cooling racks over metal pie tins in the bottom of a basket and setting a plant on top. 1. It lifts the plant up if the basket is too deep. 2. Any water from watering the plant drips into the pie plate and evaporates humidity to the plant. Works great
I smile as I see you holding back a squeal as you find such neat items....I feel like that too, when I thrift and come across something I love! Such fun. I often think that everything in a thrift store has a "story" and can't help but wonder what the story is.......
My favorite favorite type of video I love to see you 3 thrifting I couldn’t hit that start button fast enough made my morning I was never into thrift thing until I started watching you 3 thrift now I’m so into it. I took a vacation for a week and all I did was go to different thrift stores in the bay area was so much fun.
I so need to adopt your "hole in the head" mantra when thrifting! Sometimes it is so hard to pass by an item. This was another great video. Thanks for taking us along with you and have a very Happy Easter 🐰
I thrifted today. Found a couple good things. I love the big basket you got with the handles. And the first wooden crate like container you weren't sure you were keeping. Good haul today.
Linda I have the popcorn glass jar it’s actually to make popcorn in the microwave it’s missing a a red silicone topper I do different flavours in mine like Parmesan popcorn and sweet and salty corn
Nice finds. ✨You should look for mat-finish glass in the picture section too. Keep a list of your picture frame sizes so you can find ones to fit for your gallery wall. It’s expensive to buy new.
The cover sitting loosely on the Singer sewing machine is not for that treadle machine. The treadle machine drops down into the cabinet when stored, therefore, not needing a cover. What that is - is a cover for a 'portable' sewing machine from the 1930's that clamped onto a base, that held the machine, that was not much larger than the circumference of the cover. I have my grandfather's (yes, grandfather was a seamstress) 1911 treadle and I have his 1930's Western Electric Co 'portable' machine. 🧵🪡
Hi Linda I love your thrifting videos and also enjoy when you do a video of “how you use the thrifted item at home” I found a gorgeous large blue and white soup tureen w/handles and dropped a beautiful plant inside… it made a great centerpiece!
Your goodwill is so good! I have stopped at ours, and it is so picked over. I did get a cane for when I had knee surgery but wish I could find such fun items. Of course Linda has such a good eye.
Thanks for this fun adventure to Goodwill today!!! You are much better at editing than I!!! The green metal wall hanger is a hose mount..my guess. Cheers to St. Paddy's Day approaching, and Palm Sunday, then EASTER! Looking forward to more of your creative ideas, Linda!
It may be a hose holder the metal rabbit), but I would repaint it and find a similar size as the platform with a matching basket and fill with flowers or spring plantings such as tulips or find a wire basket fill with moss and earth and spring plants and place outside!
I have collected books since I was a child and they have been stored at my brothers since my move.. just got 10 boxes delivered.. so happy to have them home ❤️
Leah, The pattern on that old time crayon container looks exactly like contact paper I had in 1981 to decorate my dorm room. Can you tell if it is covering the tin or if it is a pattern printed directly on the metal? Wondering if it is covering an old coffee tin. Fun memory!
What a great shopping day. I was so excited for you. You are so much better than me at controlling your impulse to buy. I’m trying to talk you into buying all the things that you are putting back on the shelf! 😉
My thrifting today was frustrating...should have called the store Homegoods...as the prices are just insane... just as expensive to buy new, than 2nd hand nowadays...
Balls are Carpet balls - very popular in the mid 2000s but a real “ thing” in late 1700s! I love baskets of all kinds. Learned to sew on a hand crank Singer. I think Linda did well in curtailing her appetite for buying 😂!
The green bunny might be a plant holder that you mount onto a deck rail outside? Screw onto the railing wood top piece and then put a plant on it. it would keep the planter from facing over the railing onto the ground. I think it is cute whatever it is.
Oh my goodness…love 🌹thrift shopping..especially with you. ♥️I wish my Mom was alive. She would love it toooooo. Sending love hugs prayers and kindness with positive thoughts ♥️🙏🏼🌹👍🏼🦋
I definitely would have picked up baskets you got, Linda, but I may have picked up a couple others and spray painted them to fit my color pallet. The nutcracker will be great addition to your holiday wood collection. Those blue balls can be quite pricey at full price and I like idea of nesting them among plants, maybe your orchids.🌷🌷🌷
Love all the baskets you choose! I found on Amazon a 12” square basket w/ feet, like the one you bought. Too cute for words, only 3 left if you need another. Love your Blue & yellow plates for Easter!! So pretty! 😂🎉
I think that green metal rabbit is a hose mount.
Yes, missing the metal plate on the front part that holds the hose in place that's why the other side is void of bolts.
It is!
Yup garden hose was my guess too
Could also be to hang a wreath
That’d be my guess too
I love how the adrenaline kicks in with a good find . Linda you are so good at thrifting and have wonderful ideas how to repurpose the items , even if you don’t take them home.
I look for heavy metal trivets to use as "stepping stones" in a garden.
What a great idea!
Oh Linda, the nut cracker is perfect with your wooden tree collection!! Fab!
I agree with others that the green metal bunny is a hose holder.
I like to combine those blue/white balls within indoor container gardens. It looks beautiful! What an amazing shopping spree!
They would also look good just mixed in with the moss balls.
I love that Leah is wearing her grandfather's boots! They look great with those wide leg jeans and the sleek leather jacket!
As much as I love your gardening videos, I also love your thrifting videos! Your Jean skirt outfit and boots look so stylish. Leah is also adorable!
So glad you got the trivets, you can always use the trivet to protect your countertop. Good find.❣️
I would have had to buy the green glass platter! It would work for Easter, Christmas, and summer!
Of course Stewart as been good enough for an Easter basket!! He's always good enough!!

That 1966 Batman art is amazing!
The genuine hitch in Linda’s voice when she finds the nutcracker is the cutest thing 😂❤
Love your thrifting videos, can’t wait to see how you style the thrifted treasures! ❤
That can Leah picked up looks like a contact paper from the 80’s that I used in my Preschool to cover tables. Perfect for a crayon, marker holder
I used it to line my oldest son’s dresser drawers!😊
My favorite favorite type of video I love to see you 3 thrifting I couldn’t hit that start button fast enough made my morning I was never into thrift thing until I started watching you 3 thrift now I’m so into it. I took a vacation for a week and all I did was go to different thrift stores in the bay area was so much fun.
I also went thrifting today! Found some polished rock eggs, glass art, a frame, and other fun items 😊
I would NEVER buy used footwear. Love your treasures. Such a fun time!
The green thing with rabbit looks like a holder for a hose.
The brown willow basket would have been cute with forced tulips
I so need to adopt your "hole in the head" mantra when thrifting! Sometimes it is so hard to pass by an item. This was another great video. Thanks for taking us along with you and have a very Happy Easter 🐰
I LOVE these thrifting videos!!! Stewart chuckling at your finds and excitement is darling!!! I could watch all day long!!
I think the green metal bunny thing is a garden hose hanger.
I agree
Always yes to trivets. Great for entertaining and those seem really heavyweight. Good quality.
I thrifted today. Found a couple good things. I love the big basket you got with the handles. And the first wooden crate like container you weren't sure you were keeping. Good haul today.
It is definitely a hose mount. I have a similar one. It look adorable when hung!
When you are done there you can come over to my house and shop-I am cleaning out the entire house....LOL. I like it when you take us shopping.
I’d like Leia to show us how she tied her scarf sometime 🌻
Or a whole segment where Linda and Leah show how to tie/wrap the different sizes of scarves! 🧣
Hi Linda,
I love your GW. You are lucky! It seems like you have better quality products there and with lower prices than the GWs where I am.
I enjoy your thriving videos. Fun to see what you and Leah like.
The ceramic watering can would be a cute Easter gift ( neighbor etc) filled with fresh cut flowers!
Linda I have the popcorn glass jar it’s actually to make popcorn in the microwave it’s missing a a red silicone topper I do different flavours in mine like Parmesan popcorn and sweet and salty corn
I think the green bunny thing could be used as a hose holder mounted on a post.
Nice finds. ✨You should look for mat-finish glass in the picture section too. Keep a list of your picture frame sizes so you can find ones to fit for your gallery wall. It’s expensive to buy new.

Blue porcelain balls look great tucked under shrubs in the garden. And they don't freeze like pots do.
Bunny hose holder with the front piece missing. Terrific video today; our taste is very similar and I love your baskets and blue and white finds.
I agree with the post below, a hose mount. Loved the large candy jar!
What a score! Can’t wait to see what you ended up with and how you decorated.
Linda, put your blue/ white balls you picked up,in a vintage white bowl, with some green moss!
Hose holder on the metal bunny item
There are two holes to hang it up which would make a shelf to put something on or a hose to wrap around it!
I think it’s missing the front part that holds the house on.
I loved the masculine basket with the leather accents for the men in ur life!❤
Love all your video s on thifting , just love them , thanks for letting us join you , ❤️ 😊
It may be a hose holder the metal rabbit), but I would repaint it and find a similar size as the platform with a matching basket and fill with flowers or spring plantings such as tulips or find a wire basket fill with moss and earth and spring plants and place outside!
I love your outfit Linda and your choice of neutral baskets etc. I would have contemplated the turquoise basket a little more.🤔😄
I was looking forward to some clothing items, I know you said you weren’t looking today, but I just love the clothes that you find for yourself.
I have collected books since I was a child and they have been stored at my brothers since my move.. just got 10 boxes delivered.. so happy to have them home ❤️
Blanket racks =towel racks for guest bath (I placed one over a floor heat vent)
Carpet balls, score. And those candle holders, yes please. I am also hesitant to buy used footwear. Happy thrifting Saturday!
Lovely stuff on the shelves. Yes Linda, thrifting is exciting and stressful. Great sharing Have a wonderful day!
I love how Linda sees potential in so many things.
The little vase for a teacher reminded me of Shel Silverstein book illustrations
I love Leah’s scraf
I love what you are getting. Loved the video
What a fun day and lots of good buys.
My Grandmother had a Singer sewing machine like that , made some beautiful clothes on it ,!
So far I like the nutcracker the best, blue/white candlesticks are good too.
I'm funky about buying used shoes and stray away from them. You found some cute things. Love your thrift videos.
I have blue and white balls in a bowl. Love the vibe
the little basket above the BOO basket ....looks like a little girl's. Love what you have picked so far
I always look forward to your videos!
Black bottles decorated with gold paint for New Year’s 🎉
That green bunny metal thing looks like a hose holder
So much fun to watch you . Great finds 😍👏😊
Lots of great finds, love the blue and white candle sticks and the balls❤😊
Like the short martini glasses
Leah ..
I love your jeans and they look great on you. ❤
What a great thrifting trip. I would not have left behind the ceramic watering can, that would have been a great Easter present for a dear one.
Love the teacher vase!!! Teachers use things like that in the classroom:)
Yes, the green thing is to wrap your hose on.
I’m putting the ceramic balls in my garden pots for a touch of color
Love the wooden nutcracker. 😊
I would of definitely gotten the nutcracker and the candlesticks and the green hobnail glass
Hope you got that turquoise ceramic apple, it would be great in your office book case
Leah, The pattern on that old time crayon container looks exactly like contact paper I had in 1981 to decorate my dorm room. Can you tell if it is covering the tin or if it is a pattern printed directly on the metal? Wondering if it is covering an old coffee tin. Fun memory!
Linda your Goodwill is SO much better than in my area! I don't buy 2nd hand footwear but you've got a point about buying cowboy boots.
What a great shopping day. I was so excited for you. You are so much better than me at controlling your impulse to buy. I’m trying to talk you into buying all the things that you are putting back on the shelf! 😉
It's always fun to tag along at the thrift store. Love your finds!! 😊
My thrifting today was frustrating...should have called the store Homegoods...as the prices are just insane... just as expensive to buy new, than 2nd hand nowadays...
Your Goodwill has much better prices thanours in Memphis, TN! The prices have gone up so much that I rarely go there anymore.
Balls are Carpet balls - very popular in the mid 2000s but a real “ thing” in late 1700s! I love baskets of all kinds.
Learned to sew on a hand crank Singer. I think Linda did well in curtailing her appetite for buying 😂!

I think the green metal rabbit is maybe a "mail box" decoration ? I love to go to the local Goodwill store, I always find something I need or like !!😊
Bunny is for the shadow on the wall, you can put candle on the tray))) fun for kids
As always, it’s fun to watch your thrift store visits. You got some fabulous items. 😃
I think 9x13 dish would fit in that basket too.
Entering the thrift store, Vater, the delighted schnorrer was in seventh heaven. 😁
Oh my goodness…love 🌹thrift shopping..especially with you. ♥️I wish my Mom was alive. She would love it toooooo. Sending love hugs prayers and kindness with positive thoughts ♥️🙏🏼🌹👍🏼🦋
Green metal rabbit find would be great as a garden hose mount
I definitely would have picked up baskets you got, Linda, but I may have picked up a couple others and spray painted them to fit my color pallet. Rabbit green thing is a garden hose holder. LOL!
The green rabbit looks like a garden hose holder to use next to your outside faucet.
Yes get it
Love all the baskets you choose! I found on Amazon a 12” square basket w/ feet, like the one you bought. Too cute for words, only 3 left if you need another. Love your Blue & yellow plates for Easter!! So pretty! 😂🎉
