Apparently Paul Walker’s Nissan Skyline R34 is going to be auctioned off very soon. According to the Bonhams website it’s reportedly in excellent condition, featuring a TV2 Bayside Blue paint job and a 2.6-liter twin-turbocharged in-line six-cylinder RB26 engine, as well as a laundry list of unique touches, including new intercoolers and exhaust modifications that bring the hp up to 550; OMP custom racing seats; a custom display for the MFD Xenarc Display unit; a custom-built roll cage; 19X11 Volk Racing RE30 wheels; and a Nismo Version II bumper with side skirts. Originally the car was scheduled to be scrapped as soon as filming was completed and due to have all its parts harvested for other vehicles, but Paul Walker took it upon himself to actually purchase the car from the studio with his own money, a move which led many on the production crew to jokingly refer to it as the “Blue Harvest” which was ironically also the working title of the 1977 film Star Wars.

Fun fact about this movie, due to the tight shooting schedual many of the stunt cars used had minimal upkeep. Thanks to this and the cars being pushed to the absolute limit they were often starved of oil. This cause a large amount of blue smoke to be produced by the engine. However, this kind of smoke is incredibly toxic which meant the studio was required to remove, or harvest, the chemicals from the air within a certain distance leading to the working title to be Engine Cleaners.
