Dom Toretto's start is so quaint by comparison - oh, he's a fairly buff dude who once beat a guy half to death for inadvertently getting his (Toretto's) dad killed on the track, and he used grappling hooks and three identical black cars without signifiers to heist DVD players from lorries; but beyond being a good driver he wasn't a big deal. Now he's some ultra badass.
Green light trivia? At one point all of the traffic lights in Arlington Texas were blue, however, this was very hard to see in the daylight, so a petition was filed. The city gathered up all of the traffic lights and called the project “blue harvest”.
