To be fair, there is some tim in the year in which temperatures in Rio go over 30 degrees Celsius daily. Sometimes they can over 40. It's really hot there.

The ones Brian and Dom were driving while pulling the vault were gen 6 chargers, totally different from the gen 7 police chargers they stole. And when did they have time to paint them and add push bumpers?
You forgot to sin the fact that Dom, a Thug from LA who is good at driving was able to beat Luke Hobbs a highly trained special forces agent in a fist fight.

Simple: that's because Dom's got Protagonist Privileges. The same thing that allows his car to drag around a ten-ton vault by itself and emerge from a large bus crashing unscathed. Hobbs is not yet one of the good guys so he's at an automatic disadvantage.
No Protagonist privileges put a street fighter up against someone like Hobbs, Growing up the way Dom did, going to Lompoc, a high security prison where I guarantee were a few fights, surviving Lompoc, getting into other Street fights, meanwhile Hobbs is basically an over qualified Security Guard.
Did you know the actors that play the main protagonists have it in their contracts that they are not allowed to lose a fight on-screen?

No, the series has always been about Brian being a cop who turns over into the illegal underground racing scene/heist crew that torretto is the big boss of.
Dr. Plague It's kind of a story how they graduated from street racers to professional heist masters :D They grew up and realized they won't make enough money by just racing. Remember what Brian said to Dom in the first movie? There is now way to pay for cars like that by doing tune ups and selling groceries. And street racing :D

Yeah, if you're driving a sensible family car. Once you get into drag race level torque/weight ratios the driver has to do a shit ton of work to keep the car from flying off the road and killing him or her, let alone getting the fastest time out of the car.

Jeremy, you’re quite correct to assume that two Dodge Chargers wouldn’t be enough to pull ten tonnes of safe out of a concrete wall.
Even if they had enough torque between the two of them to pull that kind of weight, the tyres are spinning on the surface as they’re tugging on the cables so they actual amount of force they’re having is greatly diminished by the lack of friction.
Basically, those rear tyres are going to burst long before the wall does.
Those two Chargers have more than enough power to pull 10 tones. It's just a matter of grip of the tires and traction.

@@zaydhaque9090 Yes, they can. A car can pull a plane. Tow ratings are not based on engine power and have no relevance here. You've obviously never been to Europe where you have 120 HP trucks carrying over 4 tons or 400 HP trucks carrying over 10 tons. Those were SRT Chargers, had 430 HP at the time and around 600 Nm of torque. So they have at least 860 HP and 1200 Nm of torque between them. It would mostly be an issue of traction. Those Chargers already have limited slip differentials from the factory. already have We're talking about street racers so could easily install low range gearboxes made for pulling, etc. It's definitely possible. Just not very realistic crashing through buildings and all that.
@@weedmastersr I've been to europe, and I have 100% seen it, but also those trucks have waaaaaay more torque than a charger, and anyway, there's no way you can pull it out of a wall, especially since they were losing traction, it's not possible, simple as that

No, that's not how it works. If you blink when you're firing a weapon, you are flinching. And you should not be flinching when firing a gun. It's very difficult to avoid flinching though, so it's not unusual to think someone would, even after training.

You can not drive ANYWHERE in Brasil with out killing your car even at less then normal speed. The biggest highway in Brasil goes at 20miles an hour and the fact that there is traffic NO MATTER THE TIME plus the fact that potholes are everywhere to the point you can barley call it. A road

Street racing and tuning in Brazil is something really, REALLY hard to come by. Not only that, but the traffic in Rio is AWFUL. Having a car chase in broad daylight?! I don't think so.
