Today is an upper body workout so be ready to turn up the intensity! We will perform a strength move for 3 rounds of 30 seconds each and then close it out with a 60 second push up circle! I used my 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 pound dumbbells so grab some weights that are appropriate for something as heavy as a chest press and something as light as a tricep kickback for yourself. GO CRUSH IT!
Exercises:
1. Inchworm wide push up to tricep push up
2. Tricep OH Extension
3. Chest Press with turn in
4. Skull crusher
5. Close Chest Press
6. Tricep Kickback to Straight Arm Lift
7. Chest Fly
8. Tricep Dips
9. Standing Chest Fly with back toe tap away
10. Push Up close to wide circle

I feel mine too much and that's the problem XDD
I had a horrible work week, and didn't see the point in any of it anymore. This morning I did your 50 minutes leg out, which due to work I did not feel like AT ALL. I pushed through, somehow I managed to do all the jumping squats, which I could not do a year ago. I still feel very sad about work, but mentally I feel so much better thanks to you. I felt so strong. @sydney You are truely a life saver

You don't know how grateful I feel, not just for the workout, but for the last moments of motivation and encouragement to be patient but persistent.
My hamstrings are still sore from the Monday's power workout, so I am so glad it is a chest and tricep day. Gotta stretch today, though.

On days like today, I’m thankful for my 12.5 lb dumbbells. It allows me to progress when the jump from 10 to 15 is too much!! 💪
My old adjustable dumbbells went up in 2.5 lb increments, it's great for upper body..my new ones go up by 5lb, it's a lot for the smaller muscles
Oh that's nice! Wish I had the in between weight. I agree its sometimes a hard jump with 5 pd difference..

Really needed the talk at the end☺️ My mind always thinks the only way to have a successful workout is with lots of cardio and lots of sweat. Needed to be reminded we don’t have to do cardio everyday👍👍

That sounds amazing, Anjali! What dumbbells did you use? Is this lesson also for men? I am a man and just started this lesson but it was very difficult 😞I could only manage with 2 lb weights but my arms gave up and I stopped at about the 13 min mark of the video😟

I crushed this workout today! My chest and triceps are stronger. My legs and glutes are sore from yesterday’s workout but they are stronger as well. I’m getting stronger every day. I’m not letting my period stop me from being healthy, happy, and strong. I hope everyone has a good day and I’ll see you tomorrow.

I liked the shorter work times with heavier weights. It made me more confident to push myself into an even higher weight range!!

Holy moly! I managed to hit some PR's today, I managed 30lbs chest presses with the rotation, 20lbs chest flies, 15lbs standing chest flies and 30lb triceps overhead extensions! I was even able to extend my feet with triceps dips. I am just BLOWN away. I managed PR's during leg day yesterday but didn't expect this today. Thank you again SO much Sydney. I used to be a die hard cardio queen so I know what you mean when you try and talk us past the feeling of the need to exhaust oneself cardiovascularly every workout. I am glad I know better now and my body thanks me everyday for it with less pain and more muscle which equals all kinds of wonderful benefits!! Listen to Sydney - strength days are a must!!

I struggle to find the willpower to challenge my triceps. Today I broke that cycle and worked my chest and triceps to failure. I am feeling proud.

Thank you for the reminder that it’s not always about how many calories you burn in a workout. I can get so caught up in burning as many calories as possible but that’s not necessary every day.
Wow!! I did it! Never in a zillion years would I have been able to do all those push ups pre- Sydney!! Still not as smooth snd powerful as the ones Sydney does, but I’m able to do real push-ups now- not just the “girl” kind! Still had to go on my knees for some of the tricep ones, but so freakin happy I’ve made so much progress!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

I’m so glad Sydney talked about not always doing cardio. I’ve become a bit obsessed with how many calories I burn every day and do cardio every single night just to burn the amount of calories I think I should burn. Today I’m going to go easy on myself and remember how hard I worked out this morning.
