thanks for the really clear video! I was wondering, i got this metal mesh thing that i think was supposed to go in between the cat and the muffler but i’m not sure if it’s supposed to sit inside the muffler pipe or sit in between the cat and muffler pipe. thanks!
as long as its Vt-vx-Vy v6 this one is decent (Have a video of the sound on my vt calais) dandyexhausts.com.au/commodore-vt-vx-vy-series-i-v6-sedan-2-5-inch-catback-exhaust-system-hotdog-tailpipe/
so you are going to have a look under your car and see if you have a single Catalytic Converter if so this one will fit. if you have a dual Catalytic Converter you will need a different one
@@dismissedtub6717 so it is one but i dont even have a catalytic converter like yours it just goes from two piped to one then to two mufflers towards the exhaust tip
its this one dandyexhausts.com.au/holden-commodore-vt-vx-vy-series-i-v6-sedan-2-5-inch-exhaust-system-with-tailpipe-rear/#product-tab-addition-205 if you want to see another exhaust on my vt its louder then this one. heres the link to the vid ruclips.net/video/cbOhED5UOO8/видео.html

if it looks like this tinyurl.com/example-of-flange-gasket it sits inbetween the two pipes
sounds mint, thanks for the video mate
No problem :)
did u need to wd40 those bolts connecting to the cat? tried to do mine wouldnt budge, even with the impact gun
i had to wd40 the ones on my vt but not on the vy in the video. i would spray a good amount and let it sit for 10 minutes and try again.
Never seen anyone use WD40 to take off the rubber hangers! I have done this many times they just slip off no effort.
Super informative and clear video very well done😊
thank you I appreciate the feedback.
do you need to put the exhaust hanger clips back on?
You don’t have to, I didn’t and I haven’t had a single problem. But if you want to have peace of mind you can I just couldn’t be assed lmao.
