One tip, put the bolt in from the front if you can. That way if the nut loosens and comes off, the coil over is still somewhat retained...
Add a little locktite to boot
Then ya have to remove the caliber just to get ya shock out lock tight she wont go anywhere.

Don’t cheap on those top bushing things that go on the strut top, I work at a parts shop and a guy bought the cheap $50 option and came back the next couple weeks or something and the strut had gone through his bonnet on his ss.

Guys, when drilling through hardened steel with a large bit, you need a slower RPM on the drill, lube, and a slower feed rate when boring the hole. Watching the cordless go through the lower shock mount at high speed made me shout at the monitor. Cheers.
Now it needs a wheel alignment 🤷♂️👍

If you want it low I’ve taken out the lock ring from the rear spring out and just ran the screw on spring perch and the base, I’ve found without the adjuster in place the car sits on bump stops and is a terrible ride cause the springs are too soft

Never let the wheel hub/caliper rest from the brake line and abs cable! Always hold it up with wire or cable ties as it could damage the abs cable let alone the brake hose!
Keep an eye on those cheap strut mounts i was lucky to get 3 months out of them tried twice before going for superpro
G’day fellas. Those sway bar link rods that came with the coilovers, were they shorter than the standard ones?
Correct me if I’m wrong, haven’t you just made the suspension adjustable now? The stock front suspension was already a coil-over and the rear suspension is still the same, they aren’t coil-overs in the rear, they are now just adjustable.

It’ll handle better on the track if you paint the calipers red.
Time serts like helicoils but better and you can get them in larger sizes that reduce for the thread you want to use eg
5/8 timesert reduced to 1/2 inch thread
P platers can't afford suspension, they just use berina springs from the wreckers. 😂
Hey looking at getting these coil overs for my vy sedan I’m worried they won’t have it sitting over the legal height of 100mm anyone have any ideas on if they will be legal?
