Thank you for the information. I have all of the symptoms you listed and thought it was related to age. (60) I will definitely be doing this each morning before my workout.
I started doing a version of this for breakfast about a week ago. I really like it! It has way less fat than I was doing before and I have energy all morning. Thanks!
Thanks for the amazing content! I've been giving it 110% for the past 3 months and havent seen alot of fat loss. I've used 3 or 4 bmr calculators with tdee rates for my height age and weight.....but I'm struggling weather am I eating too much or not enough. I'm 43 5'9 210 and alot of muscle just covered in a layer of fat....lol. I'm taking in around 1900-2000 cals a day and do high intensity workouts for 90 mins 3x per week🤷♀️
Macro and calorie tracking tracking is inexact, so play around with increasing/decreasing macros and/or calories, or specific food types, to see if you can dial in what your body responds to. Also, clean eating is key, obvious I realize. For me it was reducing my carbs and calories, but lately I'm relaxing with my carbs because I'm quite active... nothing like Kristi, trust me, I'm 62, 6'0" 200lbs and I'm losing weight and fat. :D
Thsnk you for sharing your videis.would appreciate if you give a normal day of your eating plan.. im 53 154cm height and weight 51.5kg..i want to be lean and tone.. but i cant see result ..i had no idea how to count macros..but im going to starr now lately i was feeling to quit. Sluggish mood swing brain fog..now i realise i was nt eating enough
Last year I discovered Better Oats brand Oatmeal and I am in love! I do the Maple flavor with water and add Natural Jif, Chia, and Cinnamon, and occasionally add a banana to get carb and a fruit in right away. Definitely my go to bfast in the winter ;) also love Whole grain Toast with plant based butter spread and tomato or hard boiled egg. And some S&P. SO GOOD!
Hey, Love this recipe. I have been doing it for a while and my kids love it too. 👍🏽 I have a question unrelated to nutrition this time. What do you do for severely painful calluses on hands? I have tried literally everything. I have tried multiple grips, I have used wod&done, I use chalk, bar wax.... I have never really had a tear but I do get blisters and then they peel. At home I have used a razor to shave them, a pumice stone, sandpaper, and working hands cream or Aquaphor at night but they continue to be so painful especially if I am hanging from the bar multiple days in a row. I have asked the coaches & athletes at my box but we have exhausted all options. Any suggestions from a pro? TIA
Hi! I use a stone in the shower and try to keep my hands moist, once they dry out they hurt a lot! I know a couple people in my gym use this to shave their calluses.... www.amazon.com/Care-Powerful-Rechargeable-Electronic-Calluses/dp/B00QEXVPQ0/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=care+me+powerful&qid=1621028054&sr=8-1
I’ve been finding these videos extremely helpful. Lately I’ve been noticing that I don’t eat enough and I’m not sure how to eat more.. I definitely need to work on doing better groceries and and cooking. Edit: I can use protein powder instead of the collagen thing?
You can use any milk you choose. I like Oat milk bc it has a bit more calories and fat than almond milk. Pat has a dairy allergy so we stay away from regular milk for the most part!
This would be good! Other items would be easily digestible carbs (I sip on my shake from 1st phorm with Ignition or Intrap-formance) You could also do a banana, sweet potato or rice or a baby food packet
Regular PB just goes right to my belly, so the PB powder is my jam, cept I use the glass 1 cup container, 1/4cup steel cut oats, and a scoop an a half of PB powder, cinnamon, ginger, and a pinch of salt, then 1/3 cup coconut milk. After the 50, the carbs are not my friend, and I have to watch the 'snacks'.
I went through insomnia last summer too. Eating more has helped SO much with insomnia! Now I rarely, if ever, struggle with it now that I am fueling right :D
Collagen is really good for our tissue, tendons and ligaments. As we age Collagen in our body breaks down and gets harder for us to produce so supplementing it can help keep our tissue healthy and help as we age and it breaks down!
Yes absolutely! We need protein, but collagen specifically is found in our bones, muscles, and blood and also helps with skin elasticity. As we age our existing collagen breaks down and it can be harder for our bodies to produce more, that's why I usually take 1 scoop per day and this is how I like to do that!
@@cfp9465 so for people who find it hard to eat? Because I can eat 300 calories with more food and be full. I just dont see why wasting so many calories for a little thing . But I see what you mean now.
Hi! My point exactly! I can eat 250-300 cals of diff style food that is way more filling but then I’m under eating throughout the day! I don’t want to be in a calorie deficit so this is an easy way for me to get lots of calories in up front and not feel overly stuffed!
it nice of you to share i like it when you give recipe
Thanks! I will try to share more things I learn and like!

I always had the problem of eating to many calories. I have learned to cut them down so I don’t gain to fast. Great video 👍
Great!! thank you, I'll include these two in my routine for sure.

@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell Thanks so much

Thanks for watching and absolutely !
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell do you eat it cold or warm it up in the morning?
Thanks for sharing! Love your videos. Would love to see more full day of eating videos!

@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell OK
Can you explain the chia seeds and why I use collagen proteins instead of whey
Yes I’ve used whey also and it works great !! I just like to get collagen in during the day so I start my day w it !
Thanks for the sharing, looks delicious 😋
Absolutely! It is def tasty :)
Great advice! Thanks.

That sounds good too!! Yes nutrition is not a one size fits all approach and knowing that is key!!
Definitely gonna try this one out on meal prep Sunday 😋
I talked to Mike Molloy this week it cool to see how what he said is being used practically!!
About how far in advance would you eat this before you start training (rough window)?
I wonder the same thing
I’ve been going through pretty bad insomnia lately, I never thought it might be related to undereating!
I went through insomnia last summer too. Eating more has helped SO much with insomnia! Now I rarely, if ever, struggle with it now that I am fueling right :D
Love this! Definitely going to give this a try
Just curious , I find the oat milks here is basically veg oil ,is it the same there .
Can you swap collagen with Whey or will the consistency be off?
You can !! I’ve done it and it’s great!!
Very good info thanks
You can tell when I get hungry because I get hangry 🤣
HAHA I do!
What size are those containers and where did you get them?
The collegian doesn’t have amino acids so do you still use it as your protein count?
Hi how many Grams of collegen do you us? I use overnight oats but use honney to sweaten. Great start to day l.
great video thank you!
Do you mix the turkey sausage with the oatmeal?
no, lol i eat them both for breakfast but not together!
I assume I could swap the collagen for chocolate protein? I do not have any collagen but want to try this.
Whats the benefit of having collagen protein in these versus a standard whey protein??
Collagen is really good for our tissue, tendons and ligaments. As we age Collagen in our body breaks down and gets harder for us to produce so supplementing it can help keep our tissue healthy and help as we age and it breaks down!
Thank you
What are the reasons you take collagen? I'm curious if my body would benefit from it (I'm a competitive pole dancer)
M2nutrition is amazing. I use them as well.
In the recipe screen shot it says 40 grams of oatmeal, but it is 80 grams, right?
Yes! I thought I put in 1.5 for that screen shot! I usually use two packets of the instant!
Do you eat this hot or cold? Thanks for sharing this!
I make that but add 1tsp of cocoa, half a mashed banana, greek yoghurt and crushed nuts or granola on top.... NOM!!
YUM! I will have to try!
Do you ever warm it up in the microwave?
i do sometimes!
Pat needs to do a grill video!
HAHAH he does! He is a great grill master!
Hi Kristi and Pat, do you feel there is a benefit for collagen instead of other protein supplements?
Yes absolutely! We need protein, but collagen specifically is found in our bones, muscles, and blood and also helps with skin elasticity. As we age our existing collagen breaks down and it can be harder for our bodies to produce more, that's why I usually take 1 scoop per day and this is how I like to do that!
I’m sure it depends on the person but how soon before you workout are you eating this?
Can I sub the Oat Milk with????
Just wondering do you fallow any forms of intermittent fast or eat normal meal times three out day ?
And now I'm starving, 😂
Thanks for this. Another option for my under eating friends
easy peasy
In AWE!!
I eat the Cole Sager breakfast
I will have to see what that is haha
❤❤❤
sounds delicious, good luck this weekend, like your training videos except for the awful rap crap music I have to watch them on mute
i am sorry, i am trying to focus but she is so beautiful.......and yes iam straight. but dang!!! ok...ok...focus😃
At 6’0 and 190 lbs, I eat like a high school girl.
600 calories for that little thingy? Hell no.
That’s her point for those that do t want to feel weighed down or hate eating breakfast!! An easy way to get calories in!!!
