Those Buffalo pretzels are the bomb! Add some salsa and I’m golden! Thanks for the video! I have been doing macros for the past 2-3 months and am still learning and trying to learn what is ok and what is not.
Salutations from the French Riviera to you and your guy. Great vid as usual. Thank your. Same grocery list here.. y'all should come visit sometime. Salutes.
My first coach said to stay on the perimeter of the grocery store where most of the fresh food is placed. I do visit the store more frequently and I find it therapeutic to shop fresh.
Kodiak Cakes are SO much cheaper at Costco, if you or a friend has a membership! I also agree with the reusable bag sentiment -- you can also get mesh produce bags for a low-cost, less plastic option. Thanks for being willing to use the reusable bags!
Another tip is to sort your list! Go in a circle around the store and hit the shelves last. I go produce, meats, cheeses, drinks, eggs, dairy, kitchen/home supplies, frozen, canned goods, baking/spices, then snacks last & I end up right at the check out. Getting perishables before canned/dry foods, makes it so you can't stop and look at all the impulse items or stuff will start to thaw before you get home.
If you like hot, get Sling Blade, it's got the Reaper, oh so sweet. Tapatio' is nice, here in Texas we have that and two kinds of Valentina's which is very similar in the 34oz bottle.
We definitely do and it also changes with the seasons! We use balsamic vinegar at times but one rule is we always try to pick "clear" salad dressings and dressings that go into the fridge and are not bought from the shelf!!
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell Absolutely! Its so helpful for me because it always turns out fluffy and its one less thing you have to worry about while cooking. It just does its own thing! Thanks for the reply!
I too will only eat jasmine rice, very particular about the brand and all. I saw you cooking it on the stove top. Have you tried an instant pot? Jasmine rice in the instant pot is a game changer. You can make it in bulk and it comes out perfect every time. Cooks in 4 minutes! Just some food for thought ;)
I love all fitness!! hoping to bring you more nutrition videos soon! I have learned so much about all diff types of fitness that I hope to be able to share soon :)
Additionally I'm with Pat on the onions, unless they are sauteed. It's just the raw onions that I don't really like that much at all. Does he mind them sauteed at all?
hmmmm.... I need to check out a few next time I am in the store! I always look for the least amount of ingredients and ingredients I can pronounce! If I cannot pronounce it and don't know what it is, it is probably not something I want to be putting into my body!
Why don't you wash your rice before cooking it? I wash it to get rid of whatever may be on it, to find rice pieces that look weird(half brown when it's supposed to be white), small stones if any, and take some of the starch out of it. I clean my rice three times until the water runs clearer than the first wash.

its seems to be a person to person thing, bread doent bother either of us. we have cut it out and not noticed a difference but for some it can cause alot of problems.
The standard neutral expression, minute by minute, turns into a full-on grin when I find out literally 90% of the things you buy are 90% of the things I buy. Even the heavy cream is identical. So you guys do espresso with that Dunkin' donuts coffee? Love Dunkin donuts as well. You have an espresso maker right? I don't know because I don't usually have it.

Thanks for this! So I'm curious, do you think you'd see any difference in performance with trying to stick with organic food? I don't mean that to sound snooty! You're obviously one of the fittest people on the planet so it's a genuine question :) A lot of non organic produce can contain unwanted chemicals. Likewise, typical meat options at the stores that aren't grass fed, pasture raised, [insert buzz word here], etc. have been shown to lack nutrients and health benefits. Of course, I'm not going to pretend there isn't a price difference! So I understand that for many people, the savings outweighs the missed health benefits of organic produce and ethically raised meat. But I do think the question of health food deserves conversation beyond just the macronutrient build. Macros is definitely a start, but "healthy food" should consider the quality of the macros as well. Much like, training for an hour is good, but the quality of the training is a deeper conversation. Again, I'm not trying to sit on a high horse here, just looking for insight from an athlete I greatly respect! Thanks!
