You two are amazing, and this is how families should be, working as a team for the future! Love and light to your family!
What a pleasure watching someone who actually knows what they are doing instead of being a know-it-all and not really knowing what they are doing. You are a great family, you really do deserve the best.
I love how you incorporate the children so they have ownership in their home!!!!
Hi All - let’s pick up the subscriber tally - it’s free and does so much to help Jacob and Natalie on this amazing journey. I always hit Like before I watch so I don’t forget and because I know I will always enjoy each episode!😍🇨🇦

Jacob, I just have to say, you are a very intelligent guy. And Natalie I so enjoy your enthusiasm and willingness to help Jacob. I so enjoy watching you both work. Brings back memories to this 75 year old. I have done many things similar to what you are doing. Those were my glory days. Now I sit and rest, no more construction.

Awesome job guys. After watching the builds of the utility shed, the Solar system, the gravel road, the septic system, chicken coop, storage shed, trailer mods, and wood milling, you are now really making super progress on your home. I appreciate you sharing your journey. The skills you have never cease to amaze me too. Stay Safe!
I'm glad to hear you're both on the downside of that bug. Sometimes our bodies have their own way of telling us we need to take a little rest. You've got me on the edge of my seat every video. No problem getting me to watch the whole thing. I love your innovation and how you're open to ideas. I can't wait for the next video.
Sharing is caring. No complaining. Love you videos.
Great work. Enjoyed watching you. Love the interaction between all of you. Awesome father/daughter time loading the trailer. Look forward to next week.
Your welding looks really smooth now, very professional.
Always look forward to seeing what you guys are up to in every episode. I just hate the fact that we have to wait so long between videos. Stay safe, GOD BLESS and see y’all on the next one.
I’m always so excited to see your videos each week! Every task you get done is just that much closer to your house being done. It’s a lot of fun to watch, you guys make it interesting and entertaining. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! It's been a slow growth, but it's been very positive. See you in a week 🙂
I have to say you guys have the patience of Job. Also what great planning you have done to map out all the jobs in order of finish. I look forward each week to see what progress you have made. You are building a beautiful homestead and I look forward to see what it will look like finished. Did you ever think about the amount of boulders you were going to have to wrestle around? Hats off to all of you for taking on this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to allow us to follow along.
Sounds like really good Scottish background music in the video, good choice !!
You guys rock my wife and I look forward to every Monday (Australian time )when your video drops
Mondays! We're so far away. That's so cool. Thanks 🙂
Great job you family of hard workers!!!!!!!!!
We all get sick sometimes and might get behind a little and your homestead and videos are very nice to see. I'm so glad that Logan and Natalie see the value of helping when they are young so they can get stronger and more knowledgeable about helping more. Thanks
Good idea to wrap the pipe. If you have to twelve it, the concrete is not stuck to it, allows it to flex a small amount, and every plumber I know does it that way.
So glad your recovering. Good job. Love your family and stratégies to complete à job well done. God bless, till next time.
Good Morning. How you doing today? Look like everything's coming together, guys. Got the plumbing. Get the pipes in alright. Looks good and I'll keep up the good work and I'm have a good Day Out there.❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
I’m really liking the music choices! Fun!
very inspiring, I wish my life was more like yours. Nice welds!
I enjoy watching your videos. What nice family and life you have. ❤
Please prime all your welds before pouring concrete.
Sharing is caring
More good progress. Weather looks awesome too. Where's Eli.. lol.. Give him the shovel and watch the pile shrink.
I hade a mate who was a plumber and he made the pipe leveling look easy. I helped a few times and he laid the gravel to the level before putting pipe in the trench and that went like a dream. I liked your approach as I did similar on some pipe that I laid. You guys are doing great. Man, you got to love the versatility of that backhoe, what a gem. I really liked the aerial shots at the beginning, just gives a scale to everything.
So much hard work !! I am happy to see that Logan is working hard along with his Dad. It is the best way for a kid to learn life skills. He is a strong young man. I am happy to see the house moving forward.
Can’t wait to see the house finished and y’all do a video tour! Awesome!!!
Yall are awesome, always look forward to Sunday.
Watched every episode 😊 What you’ve accomplished is incredible and inspiring 😊. Every step you take is doubled by videoing and posting which is most appreciated. Thanks for sharing. Be careful. Will keep watching!👍🏼💪🏼
Always go with your gut instinct. If you wrap them and feel good about that then you did it right!!! Good work, love watching y’all ❤️
Love watching you guys.
27:33 you provide enough good content to watch to the end, so why leave early?
Kind regards Christiaan
Love your family. Thanks for sharing
Looking good. Good luck with the plumbing rough-in inspection. Sleeving the DWV through the footer is definitely the way to go. Good instincts.
Omg , I didn’t realize your house was close to the river , that’s awesome, ❤❤
It's just a little lake. Thanks 🙂
suggestion from a plumber - if your incoming pipe is 3 inch use 4 inch corrugated pipe, if it is 4 inch use 6 inch corrugated pipe. Cut down one side of the corrugated pipe from one end to one end and force it on the pipe. This will create a sort of chase that will allow the DWV pipe do slightly move in the footer beam and not get broken or sag over time
❤great progress & accomplishments this video. Glad you’ve both recovered🙏🙂
Great team work video, awesome family
Thanks for your videos
Love your effort. I’m not certain I’ve commented before but have watched you vlogs every week can’t wait for the next one. Robert from Australia Sydney

God bless yall.
Always a pleasure to see your video pop up on my screen on a Sunday morning here in Calgary Canada , Best regards
You know, that question from your daughter ... as a parent, it is quite easy to skip over one of these (to me) important questions ... NOW IS THAT TIME ..... What is the answer you will give ....
Please, beautiful human beings: we, as adults do NOT know all the answers !!! Be willing to learn from our children and grand-children!
Ive been following u since day 1... love to see your channel grow!!
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing
I don’t know the plumbing thing, but I give you and family a good YES!!!
Amazing work…. 🌹
Hi there beautiful people, it seems like you (Jacob) do things out of fear! Why? don't you know that fear is the worst advisor there is? But at the same time, you have a kind of trust that things will work out fine! Your wife is a great asset to the endeavours for the both of you! Please keep looking back at the progresses you have made! Get some confidence from you all you have accomplished!!!! Over-doing things is fine; under-doing things is not! I would love to assist you!!! And no, I do not think I know it all. Just the thrill of building a home with the love of your life ......
Awesome job on leaks
Another great video thank you for sharing
🥰🙏🏻❤️ Strong Work!!
One thing i have done with several projects is put the buckets in the trailer when filling. This way you can just grab the buckets and dump where the material is needed. I did this with my pick up truck as well... 😊
Awesome videos. I love how your kids help, but they still get to be kids and enjoy the outside and play. Great balance in your life! They will appreciate it when they are older.
I think you're very brave leaving those stand pipes open. I'm enjoying your project.
I feel like this should be the biggest channel on RUclips!! I love watching yall and everything come together!! So excited for yall.
😊 Thank you!
Your oldest son (sorry for not knowing his name) is becoming a great help. It will be great to start passing on your many skills and experience to him! Smart idea to fill the water lines for stability. 😍🇨🇦
Have been following ya'll for awhile, great channel with good explanations of your plans Thanks 🤠🤠🤠 TN
Great channel!
I love watching your videos. All the extra things you do in your installations are for your family's well-being. Congratulations on what you've done up till now!

you two do great work. Excited for the slab pour, but have to wait for the footings dig and rebar. so enjoy your life together.👌✌️👍💕👀
That's awesome how close you live to that body of water. Never realized that prior to the drone footage. Is it a small lake or river?
It's a small lake. Kind of fun to have.
Great job! One step at a time.
How is your weather? Some places have had record breaking heat.
It's been pretty warm. Low 90s.
When is your guess that your house will be completely done?
😳 Completely done? 100%? Um, 2 or 3 years 😅. We're doing the work ourselves so it'll take some time. Thanks 🙂
Are you building a mancave in your storm shelter
I could be 😁

If you watch them, LIKE them!
Off my soapbox now.

It's not. But it's only a 5 minute walk. Thanks 🙂

Don’t they have precast cement roof?
I don't know. I've never thought of that.
👍🇨🇦
Is the lake or reservoir belong to you
