      It seems like a slightly smaller version of the log arch the professional wood worker Matthew Cremona uses!?
      Best regards, luck and health in particular.

    Jacob and Natalie, it looks like you had a productive and fun time camping and harvesting logs. The trailer arch sure works nicely. It was nice you let Logan operate the arch winch so he felt included in the logging project. Jacob, that big tree over the ledge sure made for some sketchy times as you cut and pulled the logs. Natalie, you are an encouragement for stepping up and running the chain saw and the arch winch. Natalie, your video scenes, composition and editing produce a nice quality video. It is fun to see the video camera being operated by the kids. This camping, logging trip will be a memory maker. Blessings to all of you.

    Hi from the UK again. That was an awesome video - I'd assumed you would have had to line the logs up with the log arch and the trailer but you just pulled them in from any old direction and it worked a treat. It's amazing you can pick up a permit that let's you go into the woods and pick up fallen trees - I need to move to Arizona 😄

Natalie, your first time working with a chainsaw, you go girl. Next time you will cut he big logs to size. And the kids with their help, I am jealous. You guys are living my dream. Keep it up. I am glued to your channel. I heard you say you need permits to get the logs. How many logs are you allowed to harvest ? I will be camping the whole week there. Chaps would of stopped the chain immediately. Cheep investment for the safety of your family. Just saying. Regards Kiwi Dave New Zealand.

I live here in Michigan and also get the Federal land firewood permit and they only allow us to leave the woods with no more than 6ft logs and you better not be Milling them. How does that work in your state ? Michigan sells logs for lumber at a different price. Thanks for sharing

    • @aboulderlifeoffgrid
      @aboulderlifeoffgrid  8 месяцев назад +1

      Wow, that seems unfair. Our firewood permit allows us to take anything that is down on the ground (any size). Or dead standing that is less than 18 inches in diameter. Thanks for the comment. 🙂
