Heads up, Ctek only stated that the wires (power&main connector) from the device were rated to -30c not the accesory attachment clips. Of course it's a bummer that those accesory clips should have been made from the same material but don't worry I have used the exact same model for the past 3 years outdoors with the cold down to -35c with no problems on my bmw.
That’s what I was thinking too, but I contacted CTEK and they said even the accessories were specific to the Polar models. They suggested I might have been sent the wrong ones in the box, but never explained how I could identify which was which. I was thinking the orange trim on the quick connector matched the orange of the Polar charger, but it looks like all versions have orange. So I think I made an error in the video implying that. Good to know yours have survived though. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for confirming I already bought this NOCO 10a one (single bank) and I have no use for it if it can’t be used here in North Dakota, so I’m going to try it and order the orange ctek polar as well. Which ever lasts will get 2-3 orders from me. I have a snow machine I can’t leave outside right now and it’s taking up space in garage, I’d like to be able to park it outside
But how did chargers perform? I’m looking at an on Board charger for my little machine. The NOCO only says -4°F while the ctek claims -22°F I also noticed you don’t have the polar version of cteks
