It's called the aux input jack. Don't bother looking for one for a Lexus cuz they are over $100 on ebay. Find one for a Scion. Thank you, i’m pretty sure I did break it. I replaced the aux port and it started working but recently it’s been losing connection and I noticed it only worked when I apply constant pressure to the cable
Just bought a 2011 is250 today. It’s wild how good it feels for being a 2011. I noticed your mileage and wondered if you’d had any issues with your car that I should be prepared for.
Pretty solid cars if you can get one that wasn't dogged out by the previous owner. The main issues are this aux port for example. The front lower control arms will kill your tires, and the carbon buildup on the valves can get pretty bad. Clean the valves, install a oil catch can and you'll be golden. Other than that it's mainly cosmetic issues. Seats, door panels and especially the dashboard gets sticky and melts. If your car has already had the recall done on the dash and door panels, then you're good to go. I'm on my second Lexus, first the 250 and now a 350. I made sure the dash was replaced on both.
@@Jedi_Lukethanks for the reply! Yeah this one has the panel fixed, and I can see on the service history it had a “complete fuel system clean/flush” at the dealer but I’m not sure if that was to address carbon or not. It’s for 119,000 on it and drives exponentially better than my 2020 VW.
@@Tyler7585 Oh Lord, excellent upgrade! VWs are terrible cars money pits at higher mileage. I have to work on those things all the time lol. I don't know if a fuel system flush will address the carbon issue, but you definitely need to address that as well. That carbon buildup will definitely cause issues down the line.
