I don't know how I got you in my algorithm as I'm US based, but I'm so glad because some of you recipes and low waste ideas have mirrored what I already do, or I'm rethinking on adopting them as a practice. Below were my thoughts I typed up as I watched the video. You're amazing!
I wish I could get dry pasta that cheap where I am. I can't always access a $1 store to get their 1lb boxes before they are sold out, let alone the dried beans. I know there's a conversion that makes your prices different, but so close to what I remember the prices being before 2020 in USD.
If currency was the same straight across for under $25 it would be HALF of what you bought easily depending on where in the US are you give or take a few potato or carrots, I don't want to do the math if the fresh tomato could fit in the $25 and under pricing here.

Thank you so much, Vanessa!! :) I think the conversion of Euros to Dollars is approximately 1 : 1,1 at the moment, so the 22,50 € would be around 25 $.
But I hear you, inflation has been crazy! All the produce was on sale, normally it would be more expensive. On the regular prices the budget would not have been possible...

great video! and thank you for mentioning omega 3 contents of walnuts and flaxseeds. as a baby vegetarian and long time hater of fish i have worried about getting enough omega 3, no one told me that there even was non-fish omega 3 out there. Im gonna look into this :D

I never knew receipts weren't recyclable! I've been putting them in my recycle bin for years! I will stop that.

Hi again. Do a lot of Germans speak such amazing English? Is that a rude question? I hope not lol

Nope, I'd say that's definitely a compliment. ^^ Thank you for that! And no, not all Germans, but in the younger generations it's more common.
