In india I was able to conivenve 2 hindu students who had become atheist later they agreed with Islamic teachings and concept of divine morality and were ready to read quraan .

Bless you brother. This was an illuminating lecture. I learmt a lot from it.
I do want to just note that Aqeeda books aren't all listing doctrines you should believe in. The beginner level ones yes. But as you advance in the books, you find that each Creedal point is proved usually rationally. I do agree that we need to care for research now, so that we keep up with all the paradigm shifts this age is facing

think tanks are secular temples thus the "pay for guidance service", that is a poor analogy to justify why you need to "pay" for guidance, in fact Allah debunks this:
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا یَسۡءَلُكُمۡ أَجۡرࣰا وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ ۝٢١
"Follow those who ask no reward of you, and themselves are rightly guided" (Yasin,36:21)
remember guidance comes from Allah not you:
لَّیۡسَ عَلَیۡكَ هُدَىٰهُمۡ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُۗ ...۝٢٧٢
"You are not responsible for people’s guidance -it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills..." (al-Baqarah, 2:272)
there is a conflation of what ought to be done, and how to get it done, if you resolve this you will attain felicity inshallah.
