i am glad i immediately returned my coly of the first overwatch after i discovered it was playable only via subscription to an online game. the fact that over watch 1 is now unplayable is a huge bullet i dodged. 😅
Its a heavy team focus game so you need to play it with friends if you are a solo decent player even duos most of the time you are gonna get pair with bad random players against groups of players and its frustrating. A heavy team focus game nerver will have big succes in the long run because they lose the solo players like HOTS

Honestly the gameplay is fun the characters and abilities are fun and interesting and the maps are cool. The game doesn’t really have much for you to earn anymore like in overwatch one you had a chance to get new legendary skins and stuff from the loot boxes. The sbmm is horrific, either you play a full team of 5 while having to random noobs on your team and lose or you just get an easy win. Its even worse on ranked. All ten of my matches I was predicted to lose and it was because the 2 randoms were players that they wanted us to carry because those guys were absolutely terrible at the game, they had a negative kd to the point of feeding the enemy team, they had horrible positioning, they either hid in the back with 2 range damages or the rushed into the enemy spawn and died. No they did not use character counters, no they did no target hazardous enemy players that would have helped us win. I use tank I play objective and I defend my team very well. I dont chase players to get a kill because they will come to the objective to get killed eventually. I cannot fight everyone alone in the front while two scared noobs decide to use hanzo and window and get 2 kills and 17 deaths at the end of the match while my healer friends speed the entirety of the match trying to keep them alive while I fight off an entire team with sigma and still somehow go positive when im up front and playing objective. Enough games like that will make anyone not want to play. Idc if (oh just dont care and have fun) you know whats fun??? WINNING, winning is fun. If anyone said something like that on any sports time I was one that guy would be instantly judged as a bum.
