When Overwatch and Blizzard still had a soul. I miss Kaplan and the old Blizzard, it's gone now. OW2 is a soulless husk - a representative of the true state of Blizzard internally. Corpos can't replace what's gone - it's not on a financial profit chart.
To every fellow comp player that i've ever played with, you all had brilliant footwork. Heck, some had more than others did, even. To every casual player i have ever played with, you deserve my highest regards. To every support demon, you've carried us extraordinarily on the field. To the friends that i have made along the journey, i'm glad we met through the game. To the pro players such as XQC, Aquamarine, and Wanted, i thank you all individually for the memories. It's been a major honor to be a part of the original OW.

After watching the video and at approximately 9 hours away from the overwatch servers shutdown to overwatch 2, I can tell that something clearly changed and has been missing ever since season 10. The enthusiasm, fun and energy that game brought us for so many years has somehow evaporated and has never truly been found again and will probably never be found again. Here’s to a great game who died 4 years ago and to all the players still hoping it’s successor will be able to bring that spark back. Good luck everyone. See you all on other games.
It was a great game. I played it with someone who become a one of my best friends. We even met in RL. Now we are 20+ ppl and ready for OW2! The Crew ^^
February of 2017 Sophomore year one of my friends got Xbox. My other friends and I started playing Xbox together and Overwatch was one of our first games played together and is a game that will stay in our hearts forever. We’re excited for OW2 and the new memories we will make. That game got us through some tough times and always brought us together
at first i was really sad i mean i spent 5 years on this version. and actually i'm not a fan of big changes but i have to say playing overwatch 1 was just exhausting. all these changes took the fun out of me i also had very strong lags no idea why. I am very positive about overwatch 2 at the moment. the customization of the heroes is very awesome! and i have no lags even though the servers are overloaded but i had a lot of fun moments and grew with this game. and i miss jeff 😔
Shoutout to all the zen mains out there who know how great it feels to pop a transcendent to save your team in those clutch moments and have gotten it down to a science, let’s overwatch two doesn’t kill that
There was a time in my life when all I did was play overwatch. Be that with my mate Tom or on myself playing as mainly Ana and healing my team to victory. It's a shame that era is over but as much as I raged and threw my controller I truly did love this game and Jeff. At some point this game was very special to me, special for all of us. Thank you everyone I ever played with (yes even you annoying ass Torbjorn mains and Hammond mains). I hope to see you in overwatch 2 for a new era of overwatch :)

Even though I basically stopped playing the game after 2020 by only playing during the events after that year, this game will always have a special place in my heart. I hate and love this game so much. It’s 10:40PM right now here in NYC. I’m gonna spend the remaining time playing this game. Ik overwatch 2 will come out after a day.
