What made me fall in love with OWL was the first game between Seoul Dynasty and Dallas Fuel and seeing the level of coordination. The map was Temple of Anubis and Dallas was defending point A. They showed a over the top view of the fight and Seoul surrounds Dallas and then sudden collapses of them from all sides obliterating them.
It was the first time I've seen that level of coordination.
Didn't miss a game after that. And was able to go to the Inaugural Grand Championship in New York with my friends.

One of my biggest regrets in video gaming is starting to play OW in late 2019 in S18... Missed all of OWL S1 & 2 and GOATS
I was a TF2 fanboy that didn't want to give it a shot. S1 of OWL clips always look so damn fun.
Also, damn that ending... I've heard Soe's speech at least 5 times and I have teared up every single time. Through OW's many high and MANY lows, it has been apart of my life for almost 4 years from which I have made many friends through the competitive scene. Thanks for the good times OWL

Been following the league since day one, and I was fortunate enough that I was able to go to Grand Finals in Toronto this year. While it may not have been the biggest or most intense Grand Finals, it was by far the most emotional. Everyone there kinda knew it was likely to be the last one, but dammit we made the most of it. This Grand Finals felt like one last hurrah, one more trip 'round the sun.
Soe's speech summed it up perfectly just how all of us felt. It was a dream and I'm glad I got to be there to witness it. Getting to see one of my all time favourite players turned caster Custa (he even signed my old-school Valiant colour scheme shoe), being able to meet so many people from the Toronto Defiant and the other teams that made it to Finals, and all the amazing people from Discord servers that travelled from all over the world to come support their teams. We've all made lots of friends along the way and I'm glad I got to meet all these amazing people before it has inevitably come to an end.

He wasn't in the owl for too long but to me and to many other people he was definitely the best support we've ever seen. The amount of nerdiness in this video is just wholesome 😅 Whoever thought it would be a great idea to do live games with guys playing videogames 24/7 was absolutely right 😅

Management and corpa fucked up something that could have been the best eSport in the world. Sad to see what happened to it over the years.

Was hoping to watch the game where they had like a 40 minute technical delay for a map 4 with the Dallas Fuel. I forgot who was playing, but they had the entire post match discussion with the desk and arrow contest with dollar store arrows because they couldn't play it on Overwatch. Than after all of that, they finally finished the 4th map of the match.
Great video though, and loved seeing all the clips.

It is really amazing. Ever since the season 1 finals, seasons 2-6 were won by a bottom 4 team of season 1. Shock season 1 was 9/12, won grand finals twice. Shanghai 12/12, won 1. Fuel: 10/12, won 1. And Mayhem 11/12, won one.
