I swear to god, most of modern game devs these days don't like to taking risk to make something fresh and original settings for war, i'm already tired doing a beach landing in Normandy over and over again. There are lots of brutal and lesser-known real life conflicts that are more interesting such as: Yugoslav Wars, El Salvadoran Civil War, Nicaraguan Revolution, Mozambican Civil War, South African Border War, Ethiopian Civil War, Spanish Civil War, Iran-Iraq War, Congo Crisis, Falklands War, Turkish Invasion of Cyprus, Yom Kippur War, French-Indochina War, Chechen War, Soviet-Afghan War, US invasion of Panama, Portuguese Colonial War, Biafran War, and many more. They act like WW2 was the only conflict that exist lmao.

I feel like the biggest issue with World War II games is that they always relegate themselves to Western Europe. It gets really REALLY boring fighting in the same French hedgerows over and over. What I want to see is more Pacific Theater games, which would provide a myriad of different gameplay elements that could be employed in such a different setting that saw drastically different combat compared to the overdone western front, and would allow for a different, darker tone that the usual stories of camaraderie and brotherhood seen in most World War II shooters simply miss the mark on. The one game that I felt touched on this was Call of Duty: World at War’s campaign, although it didn’t have enough time to truly explore its themes in its short runtime.

i am currently trying to not bother about picking a game or show at all. i always thought that if i play or watch too many different things and not finish them up i will mess up everything and not enjoy it. that's not true. i can play a lot of games and just fell the moment and than move on, because i don't feel like it. it's not even that bothering me financially, i can a lot of really cheap games on my backlog + xbox/ea play when i need it. so maybe we need just to chill out and play something 'casually and good enough' for this moment and enjoy it? idk

Oh you missed a huge issue with OW2. bLizards new-age idea of "balance" They make changed based on data and ignore the players feedback. Then how the matchmaker is designed to make as close of games as possible. They even started modifying respawn timers so that games go down to OT for the last capture point

Its a heavy team focus game so you need to play it with friends if you are a solo decent player even duos most of the time you are gonna get pair with bad random players against groups of players and its frustrating. A heavy team focus game nerver will have big succes in the long run because they lose the solo players like HOTS

Honestly the gameplay is fun the characters and abilities are fun and interesting and the maps are cool. The game doesn’t really have much for you to earn anymore like in overwatch one you had a chance to get new legendary skins and stuff from the loot boxes. The sbmm is horrific, either you play a full team of 5 while having to random noobs on your team and lose or you just get an easy win. Its even worse on ranked. All ten of my matches I was predicted to lose and it was because the 2 randoms were players that they wanted us to carry because those guys were absolutely terrible at the game, they had a negative kd to the point of feeding the enemy team, they had horrible positioning, they either hid in the back with 2 range damages or the rushed into the enemy spawn and died. No they did not use character counters, no they did no target hazardous enemy players that would have helped us win. I use tank I play objective and I defend my team very well. I dont chase players to get a kill because they will come to the objective to get killed eventually. I cannot fight everyone alone in the front while two scared noobs decide to use hanzo and window and get 2 kills and 17 deaths at the end of the match while my healer friends speed the entirety of the match trying to keep them alive while I fight off an entire team with sigma and still somehow go positive when im up front and playing objective. Enough games like that will make anyone not want to play. Idc if (oh just dont care and have fun) you know whats fun??? WINNING, winning is fun. If anyone said something like that on any sports time I was one that guy would be instantly judged as a bum.
