The interviewee on the left is point-on regarding diversity in America. And regarding guns, the truth is we Americans do not walk around with a gun 24/7. And those who are licensed to carry-concealed are some of the most well-versed when it comes to respecting gun safety and gun responsibility. As for the Korean culture and its practice of caring about what others think, I think that rings true in a lot of Asian cultures because there is a huge emphasize on saving face for not only the individual but for the entire family. Growing up as an Asian-American meant that I grew up bi-culturally which clashed often. I have found myself to juggle between not caring what others think, and then on the flip-side also considering what is socially better for my ethnic community and my clan. I see the value in both and find that being too extreme in one or the other isn't wise. There should be a healthy balance between self-interest and consideration for others.

Unless you live in a state like new jersey where you cannot even bring them out of the home and have to have a license to carry, but it must be always concealed, and in new jersey you can't walk around with a gun, no matter what, unless you're legally obligated to carry one. I'm lucky i've never even seen a gun before except for on a police officer, except one time. Each state has a separate government and separate laws in the west. You're far more likely to see people carrying guns. A very large percentage of guns are in the west, and that's where you hear a lot of the Stories about shootings. And of course, there's others too in the east, but it just seems uncommon in my state.
No matter what country you come from, I hate stereotyping, especially when you live in a multicultural country like the u. S, which is the most blended culture in the world, so a lot of us don't even eat hamburgers or have guns.
Regarding the pizza thing, pizza is from italy and all countries make it wrong except for italian restaurants.

The collectivism as part of Confucianism is one part I wish East Asia would stop taking for granted. It's part of the reason why you can walk freely at night or leave your belongings behind and not have them stolen. The grass looks greener to have more independence and individuality but for FVEY countries this usually turns into a toxic idgaf about anyone else mentality and a lack of respect. I can feel what that imagine, but honestly, Korean men are under a lot of pressure and expectations from Korean women. Consideration, financial strength, physical standards... The reason why Korea has the lowest birth rate in the world is by no means for one reason. Many people think about gender issues from a woman's point of view, but they don't know that there's a lot of truth on the other side. So I think it probably meant that the men were freed from the demands that Korean women put pressure on men. Of course, that's what you mean to some men too. I’m happy to hear all their positive views towards Americans. Looks don’t matter much and American men are more supportive to their partner. However, in terms of cost of living. US is very expensive place to live in. Take for example, Las Vegas. Average 1 bedroom apartment is $1300. A car is a must, $400-500 plus insurance $100-200. Health Care Insurance $200-500. Seoul average 1 bedroom is $500, car $0 or subway, bus, taxi $1/ride plus transfer. Health Insurance: reasonable and affordable (I need to know more about this). I’ve visited korea for dental procedures and I don’t have any kind of insurance in Korea. My Dental procedure cost $2,300 while if I’ve done those in the US w/o insurance, it’ll cost me $13k-$15k

It's funny because, like Americans. Most of us are so multicultural, and we don't eat burgers or fries and pizza. A lot of us eat rice and chicken breasts and very healthy vegetarian diets. I know koreans eat a lot of pork and beef.Which a lot of people here don't like, and so they don't eat burgers as much as people think they do. A lot of people here hate cheese and I notice I have trouble eating at restaurants because too many things have cheese on it, but we can always just take it off.
And we're not that overweight, and we don't trust our doctors as much as koreans do and don't have excessive health screenings, so there's lower rates of cancer than in korea.and a lot of us are so different in our culture, america is a country that is not homogeneous, so everybody is mixed blood here and is either first second or third generation american, or they've had family that has been in america for several generations sadly, the original race has been kicked out of their own land and there was a massive genocide. So my fellow native alaskan and native indians are of extinct, and now it's completely lost its original heritage that should have been.
here is Spanish food Mexican food. Indian food , there's amazing Authentic korean and chinesebfood in my state( NJ)and New york cause I live in the tri state area. So many people here don't eat beef or pork or red meat, and only eat chicken and fish and prefer to eat chicken rice and healthy pastas and vegetables!
and the thing about america is it is the only place where you can get authentic food from every culture! Pizza is not American, it's italian. However, there is americanized pizza and koreanized pizza, and I noticed it tastes like crap, since I'm authentic Italian, I only go to authentic Italian restaurants to try pizza. That's the thing about America. People all think we eat burgers. But I'd say, most of us barely eat that kind of food and a lot of us don't even own guns or know anybody who owns a gun, and every state is like a different country with different laws on guns😂😂😂 furthermore, I feel like when people think of the u. S they are only imagining Chicago, California and New York, but forget about the 53 other states with completely different cultures in history. We have the south with the most conservative people who hate gays are threatened by any non-white But a lot of us are completely blended in hour hometowns, so we are open to a lot of different foods and cultures and a lot of interracial marriages too. I love my country. There's a lot of good and bad such as difficulty taking transportation. But I just wish people would study more about America because I feel as though it is stereotyped when it's almost impossible to do so in such a huge country with so many different people. I'm Spanish and Italian, but I'm born in America and a third generation American, who is italian hispanic native alaskan😂😂😂i hate stereotypical american food, and I very much don't care what anybody thinks of me. That one girl got it to the T That americans don't give a shit about what people think, but of course, this varies in different people.
The women here are quite tough and hate feminism. And i've heard many korean guys, including my fiance, say that korean women are too feminist and I had to explain to him what feminism is and how korean feminism and american feminism is the same thing. But a lot of men around the world don't like tough women and go abroad to be passport bros.😂 the thing is, i'm very feminine and have strong womanly energy, but I will take a man to the ground. If he looks at me disgustingly and says perverted things and the only weapon I carry is my taser and my pepper spray, and i've learned fighting skills, but i've never had anything bad happen to me here or been followed home😂 so I don't need to carry a gun, and i've never seen gun violence firsthand but in the big cities it's very scary. I live in a small rural town. Sorry, I gave a whole spiel
.But I like to talk about america to people who don't know about it. I'm in love with Korean culture. My husband is from korea and my grandfather fought there.Defending their country during the a korean war, so I learned a lot about the culture because he married a korean woman.

It is much more well organized, more modern, much safer, and much much better than any city in the US .
