In this episode, I interview ordinarily Chinese people on the street of China to find out what they think about America and it’s citizens.
Their answers were quite surprising me mind boggling !

As an American, Its bittersweet to hear this. I’m so happy to hear China views my country in this light but at the same time we haven’t been on our best behavior. Wish this video would be broadcasted on our judicial floors. Maybe that might help some officials change their beliefs about domestic and international conflicts. Citizens are almost always the casualties.

it's the CCP bro the great firewall does a great job of brainwashing their people. I Busted out Laughing when she said ''China is more peaceful'' when China is trying to invade Taiwan and didn't even respect the Hong Kong free autonomy or how they making man made Island for ocean fishing right claims or the fact that it's using debt diplomacy in Africa and is supporting Russia with its invasion of Ukraine.
They're pretty naive in thinking America is the most open minded. A large number of Americans are super close minded and think only America matters, along with other aspects of society.

yes.. i think if they lived in the US awhile, they might get a rude awakening. especially the way things are after 9/11 and covid. i think this is what happens when people’s perceptions are being shaped by hollywood movies, pop culture .. etc
the good takeaway from this video is.. we can see the chinese govt has never started a hate or smear campaign against any country. not US nor russia, nor any country. they even love trump.
another way to look at it is i can’t help but feel how isolated and protected they are from the realities of the world.. is this what it’s like behind their firewall ? but this is a different topic altogether..
This video is proof meeting people and actually discussing these topics is far better than any "news" that pin us against each other, whether ethnically or national wise. We are all humans and all have flaws. It's what we do that makes the difference.
Several of them really got it right about the growing divides in American society.

When you keep on going to war with the rest of the world, that tends to have a negative impact on the morals of a country. It also tends to break you financially, as has evidently happened with the British.
A lot of the older people here seem to have a better grasp on American current event than most Americans
As an American, I can definitely understand why people in other countries don't love or like America because the people think, and rightly so, believe their countries are the best but please don't lump all Americans as the same as our politicians. They all suck, mostly. I've had the opportunity to visit South Korea, China, Japan, most of Europe and South Central America, and I've found beauty in every person and the country. We American’s are not all bad. Plus, the US has some of the most beautiful places in the world, and America is the only country that has desert, tropical, rainforest, wide open plans, high deserts, swamps, rural areas. But please don't think all American’s are mean, violent, and hateful people.
America consists of the good, the bad, the downright ugly, and the absolutely stupid.
Did I hear a chinese say America has a perfect political system? That's unexpected...

Chinese love Americans
Chinese people are mature and diplomatic in their answer, very good answer in general compared to the average American.
The Chinese have had 5000 years in which to mature and become rich, The British have had 1000 years in which to become mature and poor, while the Americans have had only about 260 years in which to become immature and poor.

It’s great to hear that these lovely people are so well informed and have an open mind about America. Even though our political leaders are not very friendly with one another, Chinese and American people get along very well when given the opportunity.

I think this was brilliant, Americans think so differently. There is obviously better access to the truth of what's happening in the. US both political and social. I like the fact that there was an opinion on Americans and on the political system of America separately. Interesting perspective and something to think about.
The problem with Americans is that they want it all, all the money, all the glamor, the entire world, plus the universe. To boldly go where no American has gone before.
I'm American...and I don't know why China doesn't like us. We aren't all bad....I love Chinese people and culture and the food.....I love Jackie Chan and he is Chinese. I would love to learn to speak Chinese. I think Chinese woman are beautiful. I wish I was as pretty as them. I love watching movies with old Chinese culture traditional days.
According to the interview, I don't think they all hate American. Base on their tones, I think most of them talk about the politician, polity, and society, which is a overview. It is no doubt that every country has its own good and bad persons. I have American friends who are in good relation with me, I love them also. For me, I think the problems are politians in America who always want to meddle other countries' policies. And your country's polician created so many wars in the world, which are not necessary. Just like a strong person who always want to control other persons. But in other way, look at the information given by these Chinese, do you still think CCP control their people in a very bad or strict way, which makes them cannot access the right information? CCP control their people without freedom? So what if all the questions in this interview change into what does/do American/you think about... of China? What would you like to answer?
Capitalism might damge the society. After I went abroad, I realize why Commuist matter. Just like majong, try to creat order made out of disorder. And one more point should be added, the educational system (maybe not all, but quiet a lot) which America inherits from UK also good, those scientists who have wisdom also own good innovation abilities. Ameeica's educational system is great? Has she not seen the countless videos of dudes asking the most basic questions on campuses, especially when it comes to geography.🤣 And most of them get the answers absolutely wrong.
It is interesting that everyone admits their opinions are based on social and news medias, and not on direct, personal experiences (sex in the city reference is hilarious!). It saddens me that none of them admitted to knowing no Americans when expressing their opinions. After watching a lot of videos from Patong Beach, Thailand; I went there for 2 weeks. I visited the places that interested me, talked to the locals AND other tourists. The people were incredibly nice, friendly and accommodating. While the food was a challenge for my sensitive stomach, everything else was incredible! I got a lot of questions about America that sparked people's curiosity (everyone wants to meet Mickey Mouse!). Months later I am still communicating with several of them on line.
Wonderful video .. but I feel they had similar responses and none have been there no wonder their negative perceptions were many . All the same . I like the fact that they mentioned freedom being a positive perception . Keep it up !

Our education system is great. Where did they get that idea?
Because from building of PRC to present, a lot of chinese scienctist learned in USA universities and returned china for good positions. So chinese people thought USA have the best teachers to learn from in univeristies. That's a stereotype of chinese to USA. However, as i know , "they education system is great " is not right in every levels.

Great interview.. would you live in America.. America is a melting pot that have communities that cater to every race..I think they will be very surprised to find out if they came.. but I understand theirs views based on media.. I would have the same outlook
But certain races have better neighborhoods, I don’t think they would like certain neighborhoods if they went to America.
