Good demonstration that it can be done without all the bells and whistles

They work and get the job done on the cheap.

Yep, just got to be careful with what powder to use. Merry Christmas and thanks for watching!

The technique i was taught was to scoop powder in one swipe and it should be "heaping" full, as in cooking recipes. Then, with something akin to a business card, one swipe with the edge of the card to level. This seems to give more consistance than the little shake as in the video.

Yeah, I used that wat too. Consistency of process is important, plus using a scale to check weight. Thanks for watching!

Gotta get back to handloading some 9mm. Other calibers have claimed my attention these days. So many cartridges, so little time! 😂

John, I enjoy your channel and appreciate the info you put out there, but in this instance, you are a little off. The "never exceed" listing on the chart is your max level. The item is called a dipper and is to be dipped bottom first into the powder until the powder starts to fill the dipper and using a business card or the like to card off the excess powder so that it is level with the top of the dipper.

Consistency of process is important to have good results, as is using a scale to measure weight. Thanks for watching!

Also, im having so much problems with static cling causing powder to stick to the scoop. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wipe the scoop out with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol.

Wipe the dipper with a dryer sheet to remove static.

@@johncooper3354 inside and out? Or just the outside? Rinse it off or is that counterproductive?

@@curly__3 Thank you. Wasn't sure if the Drier sheet thing would leave residue. Alchohol def won't.....

Wipe the whole dipper down inside & out and the handle. If you're worried about residue use a sheet that has been used in the dryer once or twice before using it to wipe the dipper down. I like them after I use them once in the dryer for my clothes.
