    Pure awesomeness! I need to get that mold! I'd probably use HS-6 or Bullseye maybe Green Dot. That coating looks awesome. I couldn't imagine crimping 9mm separately like I do with 223! My Lee 223 seating die just doesn't crimp. My RCBS TAper Crimp seating die is the best imo! Plus the seater plug is perfect for every bullet ive ever loaded including NLG-FP.

      It's a great mold, though I usually do the HP pins to save on a bit of lead. I crimp separately because I don't trim my pistol brass, and that can cause issues while seating since some cases will start to crimp sooner or later than the piece the die was set up with. Thanks 👍🇺🇲🤠

    Cool bullets you got there and 700X is pretty kickass from what I hear! I can't find it but I use Green Dot and so I far I love it for 9 mm.

      Thanks. I've never tried any Green Dot before. Don't see a lot of Alliant around here. I'll keep an eye out 👍👊🇺🇸

    Big Dummy...Looks good, hope that you get the accuracy you want. nothing worse than assembling a bunch of rounds in a combination that simply won't work. -Dave

      Well, knowing how bad of a shot I am, I might not ever see the accuracy I "want". But, it'll probably work well enough to embarrass myself online with when I finally get to show you guys 😂 Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate it brother 🇺🇸👍👊

      @@DummyRound Really dude. I owe you a huge apology for the comments about your shooting dude. There are those that comfortably shoot at 15 yards and that is all they are looking for, I feel like I'm being a bit of a prude, stuck up, or come across so superior (I really don't mean to)and try to teach everyone how to shoot accurately out to most ranges that people would never think of shooting, my message is, YES YOU CAN and it CAN BE DONE. However, it takes lots of shots where it means something and you have stride with a desire to get better at it. So, I apologize man.

      @@Thorsaxe777 you don't owe me an apology for anything. I enjoy your comments and critiques, and take them into consideration. I wasn't trying to sound like a victim, no offense taken, and no apology needed. Somebody has to be honest every once in a while, so thanks for that. It's not all sparkles and rainbows, and I'm not going to hide the ugly. I've never really had any formal training, but I'd love to take a class or some lessons some time. Anyways, it is what it is, so don't hold back.👍

      I think I was using the RCBS 505 scale, RCBS trickler, and a Lee scooper. I can't take credit for building those 😂 Thanks for watching, I appreciate the comment!

    Interesting, why powder coating

    • @DummyRound
      @DummyRound  2 года назад

      I've never tried traditional lubes for cast bullets so everything ends up powder coated. Thanks 👍👊🇺🇸
