This is how I do a set up of the Lee 4 hole turret on the Lee Classic Turret Press.

Love my Lee classic turret. I’ve got mine setup with the auto drum right now loading some 9mm. Great little press👍🏻

I purchased one a while back so I have the primer attachments and powder drop. Never got a chance to setup due to shoulder surgery but getting things ready now, just gotta finish my load bench. Bought a couple die sets, electronic scale, dry tumbler and few other odds and ends. I appreciate the video pretty, it was pretty informative. Would go as far to say, almost using the KISS acronym.

Well, ya just made up my mind for me... I'm going to get a reloading press set up. I've been on the fence for a while now, my buddy has been reloading for me, But I want to start doing it myself. They actually have one of those presses you show in this video on sale for $200 right now at Natchez. Looks like I'm getting an early Christmas present! Lol

Do you run yours just like this or do you/have you setup for the feeding attachments etc etc.

what happens if i do not use the expanding die? just directly the sizing die
The bullet won't fit in case
You'll probably run into problems with shaving bullets, damaging jackets, or crushing cases.
That sure beats a single stage press for semi auto bullets!
I used a single stage for years to load pistol ammo .. thanks for watching

It is just to keep the index pin from dinging on the press it is annoying lol
Can u put a 3 hole turret in this and it still work as it should ? Or do u have to use a 4 hole one?
You can use a 3 hole turret ..,I have seen no issues
@@StewartCountyBallistics which one did u buy ? Does the Lee pro 1000 fit this press ? Because I can’t find a 4 die set for my 7mm08 or a 9mm

@@StewartCountyBallistics that’s what I’m looking to buy. But it has 4 hole turret and I can’t find a 4 piece die set for 7mm08. Unless I’m looking in the wrong spot I am also new to reloading so maybe I can use a 3 die set ?
@@alanjkilgoreable most of you rifle dies are 2 or 3 .. for pistol I like the 4 die set .. the factory crimp die comes in the lee 4 die set .. everything is hard to find right now.. I will see if I can find the 9mm dies for you
Good video. The only thing I didn't like, your Press moves to much when you're using it. LEE makes a Mounting Plate, that makes it Rock-solid. Other than that, you were "spot-on".
