Welcome back. In this series we are working on a new 9mm load with 147g bullets and Titegroup powder to produce a good competition load for USPSA matches. In this video we load some up with our starting load and see how it goes. We chrono it, accuracy test it and shoot it on steel. Stay tuned, many videos are in editing phase or production. July should be a busy month.

I did some testing with a Lyman 147gr bullet that I casted. I’m really starting to like 147gr.
Mostly I have shot 115g & 124g but found at a lot of matches 115g doesn't knock down steel well on stages. 147g seems to shoot good and with that heavier weight should knock the steel down. These Speer bullets seem to do really well, very impressed so far.
Gotta see if it'll run with a can, that'll tell you if you need to increase the charge, cant go much higher though. I personally run 3.4g of tite group with 147g berry's
Yes I may have hit a home run with this one right out of the box. Perhaps in July I will do 3.4 and see what we get.
I'm trying this weekend 125gr and 4.0grn and 3.8 grn cfe pistol. Blue bullets
Have you Try than?
No haven't tried the Blue Bullets yet or have used CFE Pistol in 9mm yet. At some point we may do a CFE Pistol project with 115g bullets. Next I think I will continue this project as I have a great recipe and will test some other brands of primers to see how they perform.
@@wanneroo7106 tested! Beautiful rounds at 3.8 gns. Cicle good and very low recoil
