My theory on this is the Air Force is simultaneously smaller than the other branches, has less combat roles, more useful for civilian life job positions, and has from what I perceive, a way higher ratio of officers to enlisted because so many roles are officers not in command of enlisted or a small number of enlisted. So to try and enlist, they're like "Nah, we've got way less need for you than the Army or Navy. Go talk to them."

The most unbelievable part of this is that he found an Air Force recruiter without calling 30 times
Facts.......
AF recruiter just happened to be walking by😅
My theory on this is the Air Force is simultaneously smaller than the other branches, has less combat roles, more useful for civilian life job positions, and has from what I perceive, a way higher ratio of officers to enlisted because so many roles are officers not in command of enlisted or a small number of enlisted. So to try and enlist, they're like "Nah, we've got way less need for you than the Army or Navy. Go talk to them."
@SpecialJ11 As far as I'm aware we are the only branch that doesn't have hard quotas for recruiters to make and almost every year we try to downsize the force just to later in the year scream how we are undermanned. Circle of life
@@mshamblam I had someone in Marine bootcamp with me that was prior air force. He didn't tell anyone at first. But when we got our military IDs his actually printed out Airforce still instead of Marines and had to go get it fixed. This was back in March of 2009 at parris island.
