I’ve been watching most of your videos and they are great. One time Mike was laying on the bed which was several inches too short. Mike fixes everything else. Can you do anything to add some length to the bed. I am 6’1” and that bed is a deal breaker while I like everything else.
The mattress we have in the Wraith was originally a full size Queen memory foam, but due to the slide the mattress has to be a short (on our model RV) so we actually cut 6" off of it so it would fit. I'm sure you could find a RV folding mattress that would fold up with the slide in and down with it out, but then you can't use the bed as is when traveling or with the slide in. Mike is 6'2" but he just came to terms with his feet hanging off some. It sucked to cut the mattress but it wasn't a deal breaker is for us.
Welcome and thanks for subscribing!🙌🏻❤️ Lynn is a Port Clinton native and Mike is from Sandusky and Marblehead. Lynn works at Davis Besse for almost 15 years now!
Just bought a 38 ft Class A motorhome and I was wondering if Mike could talk about aspects of truck driving that would apply to driving motor homes especially driving down steep hills, parking on hills, passing, low clearance, etc. Thanks for all your content. I really enjoy following your channel.
We pass right by Delaware State Park every time we run up to our house in Michigan. Never turned in, but wondered what it was like there. Have considered taking the motorhome sometime and stopping there as a halfway point, rather than doing the entire trip in one day. But have haven’t yet.
We like this park and think it's underrated. We prefer it over alum Creek sp down the road. You'll have to stop in and check it out one of the times you're in the area!
Congrats on your jobs! There is a nice State Park near where you are working in Monroe, Sterling State Park, it's one of the few DNR Michigan State Parks with full hook ups, 30-amp 50-amp water and sewer, right on Lake Erie.
We've been there a few years ago and didn't have the best experience I'll say haha but we did consider it for the weekend we were in Delaware Ohio. I figured it would be like any park... Better in the Winter! But decided to go to Delaware this time
Camping has lots of smells, some good, some bad and some absolutely wonderful. It all depends on what you're doing. I think I may have found a coach. It's a 2019 Ghost. The price is a little more than I want to pay but it's pretty clean and only 7,000 miles. We'll see. So how is the Fermi Plant?? I toured it as a Cub Scout or Boy Scout decades ago. I'm not even sure if you can do that now. Best of luck to both of your on your new employment endeavors.
Good luck on the ghost you found! Fermi is good but I never went in the plant, receipt inspection is done in the warehouse but their processes are outdated IMO but great people and good learning experience!
Woo Hooo! Miles and Smiles!! We have a Super C and when take off in about a month for a month we will hit 40K and greatly look forward to more of the “Nomadic Lifestyle”.Incidentally .... we don’t have an RV.... We have an RC for Rolling Condo!!!! LOL! So enjoy ur cannel!
Exactly! We are excited for the rest of the trips this year has to offer. Who knows where we will go or where we will end up😁 wherever that is we will have lots of memories!
Congratulations on the promotion Mike and Lynn for them to lead you out is a huge compliment to you. Looks like a fun weekend of camping. Thanks for the video.
Yeah I'm considered the "subject matter expert" at my plant so I was asked to go assist them when they had no inspectors on site for awhile. Good morning experience! Mike was happy to finally be promoted💸 haha thanks for watching!
Always love watching you guys on these adventures. We’ve been watching for a year or so and have gone back through a lot of your content! Good stuff. Hope to see you on the road someday.
That campground was really crowded; at least a couple other rigs. Nice to see you working with Piper to eliminate dog aggression, you are among the good dog owners.
Yeah the state parks close all the areas except 1 so everyone is close this time if year. We think it's dumb but oh well we still had a great time!!😁 Hopefully we can keep working with Piper and she can overcome her fears
That's absolutely true! We are loving this rig and the milage proves that😊 Guy was so tired... Just wanted snacks thrown at him instead of him getting up🐕😂
Yeah Piper might require professional help. We've tried it before and it didn't work but there are always other trainers and techniques they can use to help her... Hopefully haha
Hey guys congrats on 10k miles. Was looking at the Wraith 34W, besides the exhaust brake and springs any other real problems or areas needing improvement? Thanks, keep up the good videos.
We haven't really had any major upgrades besides those you listed... We did upgrade water pump and the tank gauges to see level gauges which we'd do in every RV. We did have water leaks (common on new RVs) which we liked for before taking it out and fixed them ourselves. We'd like to change out the steps and a few other things but nothing major... For now😂
Congratulations on the 10k miles the rig still looks new great job keeping up on it . But spring is coming and hopefully we will all have great camping season .
New to IH diesels .when did you get your first oil change. We also have a 34 W with 6,000 miles. Book says 15,000 . Seems like a lot of miles for first
Yeah haha they're are definitely more people out camping! It's dumb the state park campgrounds only leave a small part of the park "open" so everyone needs to camp next to each other until late April/May
Have you tried Purina Calming Care for Piper or is that what the vet recommended? It doesn’t an amazing job for our dog that has anxiety issues with rain. You can buy it on Amazon.
We've tried several OTC calming for both dogs and nothing worked so we went to the vet for help. She only gets it when we are going to be around other dogs at a campground. Guy gets it for travel
I really hate to be that person. My wife and I love to watch your video and we love your two fur babies. Just like real human babies we feel that they need to be restrained safety when in a moving vehicle. I pray you never have any accident. There would be no way that you could hold them in your arms to keep them from being injured. There are so many companies out there that make harness to tether them safety out of the cab. I feel bad to even make a comment like this. You guys are such good people. This is not a criticism just a concern. Safe travels.
Congrats to you both!!! Lots of hard work then add in the playtime, love it! Curious to know what you got for Piper, we have a insane dog that could use some calming down.
I have to tell you, if she attacked my dogs she would not be alive. I had a pit bull attack me and my wiener dog. I got staples in my head. I stabbed the pit bull to death ..just saying. I love dog's but not happening.
Yeah, she's never attacked anyone/or another dog because we keep her away on purpose. We are trying to get her to come around to other dogs because she wasn't like this when we got her. We understand because we would do the same if another dog attacked ours! That's a natural reaction😊
FROGS GROSSSSS! Love the smell of campfires. Glad to see Pipper is getting some social time in.
The frogs sound like summer haha Piper was much better around the Fitchs pups... Progress is progress
👍 ✌️ 😎
Thanks for the comment!🙌🏻
I love rving
So do we😁
Congrats on your job changes and welcome to Spring! Hooray!
Thanks! We are happy for warmer weather but could do without the mud😂🥾
Need to make shirts 👕.
It smells like camping!!!!!
That's an excellent idea! I'll get on that😁🔥
Peepers... first sign of spring!!
And they were screaming at this park!

Thank for the reply. That makes sense.
Wow that is awesome camping! Very nice video, really enjoyed watching it! Regards from Russian winter camping! Yury!
Thanks! How's the weather in Russia now?
@@WanderingWagners -5 c celsius, lots of snow... Typical spring 😂
Not terrible. It's back to being in the 20s F here. But no snow!
We hope to visit this area later this year. Thanks for sharing.
Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do! Thanks for watching😊
Nice too see you out enjoying nature we have several trips planned out this year in our Class C
Winter flew by! Now we have to get used to sharing campgrounds again haha

Doesn't it smell like happiness?!🔥😁
Great career opportunities for both of you, it’s nice to be recognized like that. 👍
We've both been extra busy with work but it's great to be recognized!

Keep the videos coming.
Haha you may be on to something🤔 but Guy is chill
10k means you are making a lot of great memories!!! You guys were so spoiled for so long by yourselves lol!!! Guy is a whole mood!!!! Haha!

Glad to hear things are going well. Loved seeing that fire. Looked like a great weekend.
It was a great weekend with lots of sunny skies, which was surprising😎 can't wait for the next trip!
Congrats to you and Mike on you're jobs and it was so nice to see the grill going and listening to frogs. lol
It definitely sounds and smells like camping this trip!😁
Camping definitely has a smell and a sound... Good luck with socializing Piper, I have one the same way. 4 time loser at Camp Bow Wow 😩.

Great video guys I enjoyed all the content thanks , and congratulations to you both on the jobs , enjoy the camping and be safe 👍👍
Thanks for watching! It was a fun trip. Definitely a reminder that spring is coming soon
So is Mike still working for the state licensing bureau as well?
No, Mike went back to trainco January of last year. He's now the training manager there! He still does CDL testing too

Yeah we've been very happy with the rig so far! Love the way we can travel in it now vs a trailer. Looking forward to many more trips this year😁
Have you guys checked out the Blackstone? we bought one and got rid of our grill like you guys have.
Yes we are quite familiar but prefer a grill or campfire for outside cooking😊
New to IH diesels .when did you get your first oil change. We also have a 34 W with 6,000 miles. Book says 15,000 . Seems like a lot of miles for first
We haven't done the oil change yet but we will be this weekend
Oh No!! Spring is here - the snow has gone ... you know what that means? Everyone is going to be out camping!
Hehe! 🤣 the moment I post that and you turn into the campground to neighbors!
Guy's face though 🐾😍

I love the sound of those frogs. Since we don’t really winter camp, those frogs always signal the start of the camping season for us.
Yeah, they were out like crazy in your area! We don't hear them up here
Hey so what did you guys get for meds for Piper? We have a CRAZY dog as well...
Vet gave her trazodone
