I own a Renegade XL. I have never had a single regret. I would choose it over my home.

I am really glad to hear that! I have loved mine and want to hit the open road again soon. I bought this to try out full time RVing and I have learned a lot about RVs and myself. I have learned what it would take to go RVing full time and I learned a lot about myself and if I could I go RVing full time. Do you full time RV?

I hope everybody would read my comment .My dream was to buy a class A motor home , until last weekend I google about if class A motor home had any air bags , they said no , because the person sits up high , then I did some reading on the same page , wow it said if a class A motor get in a 20 mile per hour crash , you can say good bye to your rig . In front of your class A , , you don't have any protection at all , if you get into a front end collision , you can kiss your butt good bye , sure you might be sitting up high , but what's going to stop a car or a truck from going right threw your motor home , what your generator ? well you better guess again . And how much you pay for your class A ? . I been trucking for almost 40 years . Let me tell you about the Cummins diesel . To start with they like to be pamper = change the oil with synthetic and every 2nd oil change the air filter . My co worker buys a 2008 1 ton Dodge truck with a Cummins in it , last year he tells that he has 800,000 miles on it and still running just like new and never did any work on the motor . If there is any doubt ask any trucker about the Cummins and how good they are , better yet ask them how many miles they got on their truck . Super C motor home is the smarter choice to buy . Cummins motor would out last most people and here is why , they like to be cool , by having the motor up front they get lots of air flow . When you pop open the hood of a Super C , you would notice how easy it would be to do some work under the hood . That big Cummins in the front of your Super C would give you lots of protection if you get into a front end crash

I once read that the Super C's are so much safer than any Class A. When I first saw one, I thought, "What in the Jack Sparrow is that" but then we went into it (at an RV show) and WOW! Just Awesome!

I totally agree! Did you pull the trigger and end up getting one? Now is a great time to get one as the RV industry is in a weird place with lots of Inventory and lots of people having RVs after buying then during the shutdown.

We chose a renegade because of the 20,000 lb towing capacity and it is on a real Freightliner truck frame

If they put some engineering and money into radioused sidewalls , like Dynamax used to do before the got bought out, these super C s would ride like a sports car instead of getting wind buffeted like a box going down the road.

The problem is these RV parks; sometimes they don't want "Truck" looking Recreational Vehicles at their Resorts. It's absolutely ridiculous. These Super-Cs are built more rugged for actual boondocking or unexpected road detours from-Hell. Yes, engine noises are more but the driving dynamics are much better and Safety.

    • @RVTravel_And_Accessories
      @RVTravel_And_Accessories  5 мСсяцСв Π½Π°Π·Π°Π΄

I don't really know much about RV parks, or politics, or Rules, or even staying at RV parks. I like the desert boondocking and some extra space. I have stayed and many RV Parks and I am often over whelmed by all the rules. I guess they have to just "BUG" people to keep it sane. But good heck I am grown up I will clean up after myself and leave on time.

The comparable Entegra coach has 72 gal fresh, 91 gal grey, 63 black tank capacities. Jayco's are lower across the board.

You are correct, that is good to know.
Here are the Tank Capacities in my Jayco
      Fresh Water Capacity (gals) 72.0
      Gray Water Capacity (gals) 51.0
      Black Tank Capacity (gals) 40.0

The only advantage I can see to a Super C is the additional towing capacity. Beyond that, it just doesn’t work for us.

Thanks for the comment, I would love to know what you have now. Yes it has a large towing capacity along with many other advantages and disadvantages. It also has a higher cost(Compared to other RV types) you need to consider.

I have been thinking that a "super c" will be better than most class "A"s - the Prevost are the exceptions, they are/will be out of my budget" i'm also not fond of the newer Cummins engines cause i know the problems with that fucking DEF shit and the exhaust

They are certaily different type of vehicles. The Super C is a bit louder to Drive but you are you feel like you are driving a Truck. My Class A was like driving a bus, and I sat up high and it swayed in the wind and curves a lot. Thanks for watching.
