Thank you for this!! I suspect I also have ROCD. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and these relationship thoughts start racing, which makes me not being able to sleep back. I keep trying to go through a good night's sleep and when it happens, it's glory. But these rituals (disconnecting phone, stretching, breathing techniques) honestly seem more like a fight with myself rather than a thing I do for relaxing

The gym is good for insomia. Lift weights until you sleep good. I drink caffeine before i lift weights. God loves those who lift big heavy weights. I have a fear of missing my workout, too.

    Great video as usual Nick!
I have one question, can sensorimotor ocd (especially swallowing and saliva) be linked with sleep and insomnia fears?
Example: "I will not sleep good ever again because I'm going to notice my saliva - swallowing sensations forever and they will keep me awake" etc.)
I've been dealing with this exact fear for a lot of months...

I’ve had it for 4 months, it’s been horrific not sleeping properly. I’m horribly depressed

You can recover! I didn't sleep well for years! Once I really started changing my beliefs and dropping a lot of the sleep tactics things started to change.
