But this was just two universally liked people, and there's ways to spin it from either side - some people said it was 'great to see a man standing up for his black wife' which is a bit mental, and focused on the tastelessness of Rock's joke...and others said Rock 'could've been killed', which is also a bit mental. What an insane moment. It might be the most insane moment in live TV history, this stuff just doesn't happen with mega-celebs normally - they're meant to be flawless and untouchable.
