I originally became aware of Amber Ruffin as one of Seth Meyers' writers right after the death of George Floyd when she did a week of stories about her encounters with the police. (I already knew there was a serious problem with the treatment of black people by law enforcement, but how could they possibly find a reason to harass this angel!?!) My appreciation of her deepened with the videos of her and a lesbian writer telling jokes Seth couldn't (due to him being a straight white male) and now her adorable comic genius has been forever cemented in my mind after watching this episode of Drunk History! (Tastes like apple poop! 😆 💩) Love you Amber!!!!

What quirky personality, I've never heard of Amber nor 'Drunk History' until today, and what a great day it is.
In grade school (70s), Rosa Parks being so tired when she sat in the white section of the bus was very much the framework of the history lesson, every grade and every school I went to. Weird to look back on that.
Oh, wow! That was unique. It makes the history of the Little Rock Nine's fight more palatable.

One of my favorite parts of the history of the Civil Rights Movements in America is the story of Rosa Parks and Claudette Colvin, especially the part when she does the Mortal Combat music ☺️
