For real----I usually love her What section, but I cracked up even more during the Why section,because the Steven Seagal thing really makes no damn sense whatsoever.

This. And linking it to the horrendous abuse of slavery in the US should make very uncomfortable viewing. I really like Amber and her style/this format but this was whole bit rushed and confusing if you were actually paying attention. Adding Race needlessly to the conversation is Divide and Conquer at its finest, only we're doing it to ourselves.

The way he looks at her at the end, as an actor I know his eyes are saying "great.fucking job amber!!!!" This made my heart sing I almost cried I love Amber so so so so much.
One of the worst things about the “cat suit” thing was that the “cat suit” had a function: it was SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO PREVENT SERENA FROM HAVING A BLOOD CLOT, WHICH COULD KILL HER. She’s been dealing with blood clots ever since her daughter was born, and they nearly killed her on two separate occasions! By banning her “cat suit”, they could actually kill her by preventing her from wearing clothing that is necessary to keep her safe, all because they want to police her appearance!

Yup, it's not just a "Cat suit", it was a specifically designed compression suit. Like... compression socks, only a suit... that looks cool, instead of just kind of weird.

The joke with Obama's anger translator was that Obama was calm...Serena did the translator's part already on her own. No anger translator needed.
The joke might have played on Obama being extremely composed at times of great stress when faced with the idiocy of his opponents, to me it was about having someone who could loudly verbalize the frustration he had to internalize as president. It might help Serena's stress if she had Amber to do the same.
Perhaps if Amber was around to be her anger translator, Serena could finally feel Serene no okay I'm sorry about that I'll leave.

At “Who are they and why are they that?” I laughed soda so hard out of my mouth it startled me. I could not have imagine how both ridiculous and very poignant that combination of words could be and how I would have reacted to them.

Robbie Backpacking maybe he did, but I think she lost the argument when she bought up her daughter and the whole women’s rights issue. Carlos Ramos has know to be tough on both men’s and women’s players in the past. Yes I agree, women are unfairly treated but my point being that every incident doesn’t need to be labelled as sexist or otherwise. And I believe some of the rules about attire on the court need to be changed.

It's 8:30 in the morning, I have had no sleep in 24 hours because I have been up working all night. I took a break to just relax before going to sleep so I came to watch a few videos on RUclips to clear my head. Now, this video has me laughing my butt off and instead of being ready for sleep I am more energized than ever. I am ready to return to work now. LOL Dammit Amber! Stop making me laugh!

The first code violation was unnecessary. But what happened after was Serena William's fault. Just because If a ref makes a mistake it doesnt give you the right to go ballistic for the rest of the game.
If I responded the way Serena did to something I thought was incorrect and unfair at literally any job I've ever worked at, I would have been fired. If I can manage some self control doing something I hate, then tennis stars (male or female) who are fortunate enough to live their dreams can too. Same goes for any athlete - if it doesn't fly in an office or retail setting, I'm not going to give it a pass just because it's on a court or field.

when I saw it was another Amber segment.. I didnt even pause.. I jumped on it. Seth... you are consistent and really really good.. but part of that is that Amber is pretty great... smart as a whip... witty and quick... funny and so cute... You have a great staff making you a damned good show... and you are a great host.

This was a very good performance and she is very funny. My only complaint was that she did not congratulate Naomi Osaka for her well deserved win. The fact that Naomi felt she had to apologize makes me sad that the Serena Williams controversy has taken the limelight from Osaka's win.
Vickie Clark, I agree completely. Osaka deserved more than that. Williams' coach did admit to using hand signs to coach from the side, so there was cheating, even if Williams ignored the hand signals. I feel very sorry for Osaka and this looks very bad for Williams and her supporters. She should have been more gracious.
Serena was gracious. At the end of the match, Serena hugged Naomi to her and tried to cheer her up. Naomi even released a statement about it. Serena was deservedly frustrated. However, she did not take it out on her opponent and instead supported her.
Yeah it’s heartbeat breaking. Two black women were robbed. In one of her interviews before the match they asked her what message she had for Serena and she said “I love you”. Then to see her crying after the match because of this was devastating 😩
one was robbed by her coach and her own temper, the other was robbed by chauvinist american spectators.
