Wow, to me this is rocket science, I would go mad trying to do this...I wish I had your brains...my remote entry stopped working long time ago so I open the car using the key...I really miss it but I will have to pay people like you to do it for me
is your dodge ram reverse polarity wiring for the unlock and lock
I do like the system, the fact that it unlocks itself without using the button. However, I cannot find it anywhere online. Could you tell me where you got it? Thank you.
My car already have the factory system kit in it , so do I still need to buy the whole kit or I only need the remote or what should I do ?
Can you still use your manual lock buttons inside the cab or do they not work anymore?

why no responses to questions asked here? i actually have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 but i've been having a hell of a time identifying the correct wires. i would appreciate if you can give a reliable clue to that.
How did you look up the color codes for your wires? I have a 2002 ram 2500 with power door locks and no keyless entry. I just bought a keyless system and will be installing it soon.
