Thank you for having the ONLY gasket replacement video to show how the spark plug tube gaskets are supposed to look before and after and explaining about bending the tabs back for the 3.5L toyota engine.
@@Gunne.r hey thanks for watching. Happy to hear my video helped you I really love seeing comments like this thank you and thank you for the feedback. Hope you’ll consider subbing to the channel.
Hey thanks for watching. Unfortunately the vehicles owner had already replaced the rear gasket previously and then it started leaking from the front valve cover so that’s why I only had the chance to repair the front. I apologize for the confusion.
Hey thanks for watching and happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately the person this car belongs to only wanted to repair the one that was causing the leak. I tried to get him to let me do the rear but he rejected. Sorry. Hope you subscribe!
rear side way more difficult - wait till you have to get to the extra hard plenum bolt towards the passenger side - yea you know the one im talking about

Hey thanks for watching. I actually went to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the kit there. As for the screws I kinda have a good memory from doing it so much but what you can do is either take pictures or a video of everything before you start or get a shoe box or something and poke holes in it and put the screws in there kind of in the same shape as the valve cover to help you keep track of them. Hope this helped.
@@ucanfixit1thanks brother I don’t have much mechanical experience, but should I just change the front like you did the back gasket looks too hard to do for someone like me.
@@ScubaCat3 hey thanks for watching. We put them in exactly how the vehicle manufacturer recommended because we seen the felpro instructions but chose to go the route the vehicle manufacturer suggested. So far no issues thanks for the tip I’ll actually try the felpro way next time to see if there’s any difference.
Hey thanks for watching. Unfortunately this person didn’t want the back done because it was already replaced and the front one was the one leaking. Sorry.
Hey thanks for watching. I really appreciate the tip we actually put them exactly in the same orientation as the old ones that came out were. Looks like the originals might have been incorrect as well.
You did it right. I just did the same thing today and made aure it's the same way the original was. I did not change the orings inside as my kit didn't come with it😢@@ucanfixit1

@@ucanfixit1 I have. 5.5 Hours to get the plenum off. There are three nuts in the back are a pain. and TWO different size nuts. Found out the hard way. 2 of them at 10 mm and one at 12 MM I think? You cant see them and have to cram your hand and feel them. I got it now but ugh.

Hey thanks for watching. I don’t really do conference calls I apologize. Depending on symptoms things to check: battery, starter, ignition switch, starter relay. I would start there. Could also be fuel pump issue.

Got a video on the rear?
Hey thanks for watching. Unfortunately the rear was done prior to this so I didn’t get to do it, sorry.
Nice work. Only thing I would do extra is unhook the negative battery terminal before working on. Not a big deal tho if you don’t.

Tube seals upside down. The OEM are different so it's hard to tell. The instructions that come with the fel pro tell you

What we really want to see is the valve cover on the back, which is the hardest.

the tube seals seem to be upside down. take a look at "Tips for installing press-in-place valve cover gasket" by Fel-Pro Gaskets.
