Came home couple nights ago to find our 2008 Honda Odyssey brake lights on. It is parked outside and hasn't been used in over a month. I am like what the heck? Did a quick search and found this video. Went out this morning when it is a little cooler. Found pieces of the bumper on the mat under the brake pedal. Confirmation. Read somewhere else about taping a couple pennies up there as a temporary fix. While searching for tape, I found those felt stickers you put under chair legs so they slide easier. Peeled one off and reached up there and put it on where the bumper goes and problem solved. I guess I will buy the replacement bumper for $10 but I think the felt sticker would work for a long-term solution. Thanks for a very useful video. Fortunately I did not have to remove any dash parts to access where the bumper goes.
That's my problem and this is the solution. Many thanks
Followed everything and now car won’t crank lights and air turn on but no engine
@@kaylonmyers7659 sorry to hear that the good thing is that this fan replacement does not effect your car starting. Make sure your battery is connected and check to see that you did not disconnect any other wires by mistake while working. You could have a possible bad battery or starter but I’m banking on battery. Also check your fuses because if you did not disconnect the battery before working you could have blown a fuse.
Thank you so much, my car is running on duct tape and hope, and it needs to keep running for a little while longer.
You just took the mystery out of fuel rails.❤ TKY.

@@monkeyrotary6979 hey thanks for watching. The point of the video is to show people where the location of the transmission fluid hole is. I hope this cleared things up for you.
I am so grateful for this video!!! I couldn’t understand why those lights wouldn’t go out. I thought there was a short in the system because my 04 Honda accord trunk leaks/pours water when you lift the trunk after it rains. My next fix I hope. I found a piece similar to the one I need in my little tools set. I’ll have to get the proper one tomorrow. But the lights went out and I am ecstatic.😅 how could I not subscribe!!

So how do you know if you put too much or not enough
@@user-ko6ko9pb7n Hey thanks for watching. The point of the video was to show you the location. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to know if you put too much unless it starts coming out of the fill hole. To check the level there are very detailed videos on RUclips that require professional tools. @@ChrisVause-fo5uv hey thanks for watching and I really appreciate the feedback. If your in the rust belt area sometime you need oxygen/acetylene torch to get it hot enough to budge. Have had them brake off at that point your buying a reman adapter. If they’re stiff or stuck recommend replace the pins and boots. Only use a silicone grease anything else will react with rubber parts and cause problems
@@BFMB69 hey thanks for the tip. I actually replaced everything, boots and guide pins. I thought about heating it up but didn’t feel like fighting with it. As for the grease I definitely used a silicone.
Keep the bracket on the knuckle and put a short socket on the end of the bolt and electric gun or impact. It will break free
