I have been a pescatarian since 1989...I do not plan on ever eat meat 🤷🏽♂️🤷♀️ so I can't jump on board with the Carnivore lifestyle...What do you suggest 🤔

Amazingly helpful and reassuring since this is me after a year of keto and fasting. Went down 95 lbs and then is sropped right as im 20 lbs away from my ultimate goal. Its amazing how many of these steps i fumbled into doing. I think i will try the carnavore for 30days then do the 5-1-1. Makes amazing sense and a good way to organize this metabolic flexibility process while not forgetting the basics...
You really touched on so many good points. Some I have just started trying some of what you suggested months ago and got amazing results.
This was awesome Ben! I find myself right now in a Keto-Stall 😩 Actually I’ve started retaining water. And it just so happens, I’ve had some serious stress at work lately and in my personal life. AND OMG I’ve been Keto for over 6 yrs now. But I’ve felt pretty darn good the whole time, except just recently. So thanks for all of these super tips 🙏 I’ve got to watch this video again now

Love the keto toolbox. Have a stall? I can fast, fat fast, sardine fast, WATER fast etc. to bump the routine a bit. Works like a charm. Right now, water fast for 3 days. Body stuck after losing 20+ lbs. for a week. same weight. Went ahead and took measurements so I can see results other than weight to keep me encouraged.

@@KetoKamp i have Keto Flex amd its one of those books i am keen to lend out to anyone interested. I have been keto then nearly carnivore for 5 years. I definitely have some edits to make. It's too easy to get in a rut and buy the same things because they are trigger free, affordable and convenient. I now find the veg i used to eat, sets off IBS symptoms but i suspect it's largely that i dont have the microbiome anymore. I definitely feel the lack of impact from keto and my weight jumped up during a stressful and sleep deprived period last year. It's all bourne out in my experience!

Started at 310, currently hit my plateau at 247. Just last week I lost 3lbs so I figured I must of lost another 3 or at least 2lbs but I stayed at 247. It was discouraging but did my research and I’m hoping I find a solution

WOW U SAID what i already do. !! when i used to drive big truck either in truck or hotel..motel i would crank down the AC .!!!! sometimes they would get super cold . do not know the temp but awoke to feeling like i fell a sleep in a walk in chiller.!!!! LOL LOL but ya a nice cool temp does help .

I do low carb. I lost 55 pounds over 10 months, but I walk with a cane so I cannot get in much walking.

How should I eat when breaking the fast at dinner time on the 1st “1” day - low carb? High carb, continuing the next day on the 2nd “1” day? Thanks!

Went from 263 to 174 during Covid by doing keto. Gained a bit in the following years and now stuck at 185-189 for a couple years. Not horrible but goal is 140-145. I eat gluten free and sugar free with 20-30g net carbs a day. Protein at about 120-150g and fat at about the same as protein. No nightshades or oxilates and use only healthy fats. I do love dairy (low carb yogurt and protein drinks). Might need to try carnivore.
Why don't you eat normal yoghurt?
I have so much fat in my diet already. Zero fat Fage Greek yogurt only has 5G carb per serving. So I use that for protein.

Very stuck currently. Lost 40kg in 6 months. Lost 4kgs in the next 5. Dunno what to do. Hoping this video help as I’m lost and really worried that I will go back to my previous eating habits.
I lost 11kg/24lbs in 7 weeks. Now I've been stuck at the same weight for 1.5 weeks. I know im still in ketosis and I'm fairly certain I'm not eating too many calories. As a single mum of 3, it might just be a sleep and stress thing. I guess I'll find out soon. Maybe it's my hormones too.

Yep! Gained almost all my weight back. Some have said heavy cream with my coffee possibly but like cream with my coffee.
Blood pressure meds will cause weight stalls too, especially calcium channel blockers and beta blockers.

I've been carnivore for a year now, doing OMAD and will now switch to something like the 5-1-1 ... got rid of my diabetes type 2 pretty fast (within 3 months), lost over 20 kg's, but am still insuline resistant and having problems losing the belly fat... lets see if this will help me start that up again!

Love this. I'm new to your channel, think I was brought here because of Methylene Blue. I was so happy to see you are Keto.
One thing I've learnt is Keto is so much more than fat loss. Its life changing, its health of the body and the mind.
I lost so much weight on Keto, then due to not healing past traumas, I put it all back on.
So here we are 2023 & I'm back on Keto, but for good this time, whilst practising daily Vitamin G.
The fat loss is super slow this time.
I am trying to remember that my body is not surprised this time.

I'm 65 and have muscle, I'm a man but a woman can gain muscle, use stretch bands do arms leg reps every day , go for a brisk walk , muscles grow, climb stairs 20 times , you are gaining tip at the same time , a will to to just do it ,a will to say you can, honestly you can be in a bed , do arm and leg lifts and gain muscles, look at a disabled Vet get in shape , as yourself why couldn't I ?

Hard to get delta sleep when menopausal. It’s also super hard to lose the weight. I have been on keto for almost 2 months religiously and I have only lost 2-3lbs. I exercise daily and cut sugar and dropped carbs to 20grams/day. So frustrating 😢

Fish oil? Inflammatory?? What kind are you referring to? Omega 3's are the most anti inflammatory food you can consume.
5-1-1: do I still flex if i cheated? Eg. I had coffee with monkfruit & 10% cream with my meal each day? I.E. do I first make sure the 5 days are strictly in ketosis before I "get to" flex?
Hi Buzzy! Coffee with monk fruit and 10% cream is fine. Ideally the feast day (flex day) (I don't call them cheat days) should be right before the 24 hour fast day. That helps you get back into ketosis fast.

I sleep with a CPAC which I hate. I constantly fuss with it and try to find a comfortable position and I have trouble falling asleep. I have acute insomnia not always sleeping every night. This causes stress and frustration. Help, my human body is struggling for survival.
What struggles are you having with the CPAP? The mask,pressure, busy brain? I'm a respiratory therapist in a sleep lab.
So I got a question for anyone to answer. So I've been on keto a month n a week. I already lost 20 lbs, then I hit a plateu thinking, ok so let me have a cheat meal to bring me out and start again. I have been having less than 15 g of carbs everyday and im still at the same weight. It's very discouraging and I just want to know why. I drink 8 bottles of water a day sometimes more, im eating everything baked, for a snack I'll have cheese and turkey. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone else have these problems. I've done keto twice in the past and the first time I lost 24 lbs and the second time 35 lbs. I don't remember this happening so early. So if anyone has any opinion or tips. Please help

Dairy is lower in oxalates, goat and sheep dairy are good

Tried what would be your level 2 carnivore for about 8 weeks last year. Just did not feel right and had to revert back to clean keto.
What didn't feel right, digestive issues? energy?

What if we're intolerant to most meat? 🥺
This is usually because of low stomach acid, I would find ways to build up stomach acid . HCL short term can help
I only eat grass fed. Have you tried that. Also free range eggs and poultry.
I have not. I took an IgG test (allergy test) and it came up with most meats, all seafood, all dairy, seeds, and mushrooms I shouldn't eat

@KetoKamp Don't need to catch up because I'm fitter than you( around your age .im 49) I'm talking: my experience. I was both on vegan diet for years and for years and on keto,carnivore for years and can compare all both experiences from metabolic point of view , lab tests, well being, mood,influence on body mass, etc... Of course you can't change laws of fizics & thermodynamics. If you deliver more energy from dietary fat than you need for your maintenance- you not gonna tap to body fat to burn it, what means- yes you need be in caloric deficite , count calories to tap to your body fat.Also you don't need " eat a lot of fat on keto" . Keto is very low carb or no carb diet ( doasn't mean you need " eat lots of fat " to loose weight. You need be in calories deficite continuously in order to loose weight.. Also: its only concept to say " Oh ..on ketogenic diet with right proportions you loose fat but your body spare muscles so you not loose muscles . Not always and not really. Sometimes your body on keto go first for muscles ( leaving fat untached).

You don’t lose any weight on Keto.
I followed it religiously, strictly staying within my macros, for 4 months. Nearly no change.
I have 40 lbs to lose, so it’s not my last 15-20, which are historically hard to take off.
Yes, I feel better and have gotten some of my energy back, so I stay on it, but it’s NOT for weight loss. That’s a wives tale.

Think there are way way too many people that have lost weight to say you don’t loose weight including myself. Maybe you drink? Maybe there are other reasons
