      I just found your channel and I find it really refreshing. I do have a question though: are you referring to rapeseed oil as grapeseed oil because I believe they’re two different things and definitely canola comes from the rapeseed that they used to use for the hulls of ships and then when they didn’t wanna destroy their crops, they decided to sell canola oil to Americans, but I believe grapeseed oil is out of India and is OK… Can you let me know your thoughts on this?

    None of this stuff has to be that complicated. I switched to 20 and 4 fasting, eating only a big salad at noon and a large plate of chicken at 4 p.m. and go on nightly 40-minute walks and I have lost 20 pounds in 5 weeks and counting. It really is that simple.

    This is my first visit to Keto camp and it backs up everything I learned from, Sarah Hallberg, Ken Berry, Jason Fung, David Unwin, Anthony Chaffee and Shawn Baker. I've gone through keto to near carnivore in the last 13 months. Type 2 diabetes completely reversed, HDL raised, triglycerides more than decimated and a 66lb decrease in body weight. The problem is that videos such as this are often a case of preaching to the converted such as myself. Some of my social circle who have witnessed my 25% loss of body weight are sympathetic and interested BUT they are addicted to sugar and starch. They cannot contemplate eliminating bread, potatoes, pizza, pasta, pastry, noodles, rice, cakes etc. The message is difficult to get to those who truly need it.

      Well done for even trying. I’m 60+ and I lose weight very, very slowly but can gain it by just reading a recipe 😂. I have had great success by increasing my activity, which is mainly walking. I do OMAD 20/4 and I just didn’t want to give up dairy. My weight really dropped when I increased the distance I walked, I did a little more each day. Then I walked a little faster and finally I walked more frequently. This really increased my weight loss. Wishing you great success on your health journey.

    As far as walking after a big meal. I've seen articles like that. Dr. Sten Ekberg says the opposite. He says you're body wants to break down your food. We should relax and let our bodies do what theyre supposed to do.

      Everybody has an opinion! I keep telling my husband that when he tells me so and so says this or that. One doctor says eggs are bad, the next says eggs are good. You need to decide what you think yourself and try it. If it doesn't work, try something else. If it works great keep doing it.

    • @user-os6rw2rz7q
      @user-os6rw2rz7q 2 месяца назад +4

      Walking immediately after food is bad as per aurveda as well. Aurveda is an Indian ancient medical science. When we eat, the blood goes to our stomach and tries to digest it. If you walk or do any other physical or mentally work, the blood goes there and the food digestion stops and happens in breaks. So improper digestion hence fat deposits etc. So rest for 40 min after food. Avoid any Intensive exercise for next 4.l hours as the enzymes will continue to empty the stomach and the gut will try to absorb the good stuff from the food. However light walking after 40 min is fine.

      @@mabelregimal5407 Vegans are against Keto people and keto people are against vegans but both take things to an unhealthy extreme. Carnivore is even worse. Most vegans who are the animal rights kind don't have the facts to blame meat for bad health if eaten in moderation and prepared like it's supposed to be (no methods of cooking that cause cancer causing chemicals to form, no processed meats ect as there are many things known to cause meat to be worse for you), so these people demonize meat by appealing to emotion. Most people over eat meat without proper balance and that's what causes the harm. Yes it's true we probably should boycott all factory farm meat products on grounds the animals are mistreated and in turn that unhealthy meat reflects on our health.

Going out to eat causes around 2 pound weight gain especially when everyone that is skinny wants to go to the buffet. There is still something missing why people can be thin, eat whatever never gaining, and who doesn't exercise.

      @@stevegoodman6690 Well, the initial data for the first arm of the study was done on thousands of people over many years who were not healthy but that only showed correlation. However is was a VERY STRONG correlation (that was only the "starting point"). They did a more relevant "pilot study" on 8 Healthy participants which showed increased risk of blood thickening and clotting much more easily on ALL participants. This is the alarming part and should be a concern for everyone and not dismissed. You can read the actual study yourself...the data is clear. The study is still ongoing and not yet complete. If you want a good summary of the facts Dr Berry posted a good balanced viewpoint on Erythritol a while back.
      (If you do a deep dive into what erythritol actually is and how and where it's manufactured you probably won't want to ingest it regardless of the studies final outcome...I threw mine in the trash. It's not a health food. Don't just go by what some youtubers like Berg said about it..IMO he (and some others) are biased since he uses erythritol in products he sells or recommends. I think it was very irresponsible for Berg to ridicule a serious legitimate study, it has made me see him in a different light now...)

    So so informative. My focus is on everything you talked about. I’ve been carnivore for 18months and after being vegetarian for 8 years I can tell you my main swap was the almonds/flour and kale & spinach. I ended up with leaky gut and my Naturopath suggested I do carnivore for 30 days to fix it, which it did and I loved it so much I stuck with it and the oxalates affected me as well so it was easy to just eliminate them from my diet. Thx for the watch. 🙏

Is it sucralose per se that causes weight gain, or prevents weight loss, or the fact that those who consume them also tend to indulge because they assume sucralose has zero calories (each sachet is actually 4 calories. In Australia, these calories are listed but in the USA they are not. That can add up if you have lots of coffees and teas and are counting calories.

I only lose weight if I fast for 3-days and then it comes right back. With the thyroid issue I’m rarely hungry. I certainly don’t overeat. Feel good while I’m fasting. Can I just stop eating? Husband has cpap. So my sleep has been broken for 20+yrs. Although my fitbit scores me in the 80s most nights. I’m pretty low-key. Sure I have stressful days but not often. I like my work. Very similar here too, right down to the hubby with cpap. :P I am also on thyroid meds and since menopause have gained and find it VERY slow to lose compared to when I was younger. The only thiing that works for me is doing all the things at once. OMAD or omad plus light snack some days, low carb or keto, calorie counting to make sure I'm not unintentionally getting too many, plus now cardio every other day and strength the opposite days 6x per week. With that I can drop about 4 pounds a month and I have about 90 to lose.. so I definitely feel your frustration. I'm going to try adding in some of the ideas in this video though - espcially artificial sweeteners in my case. I love a coke zero daily and a sugar free candy and chocolate daily to quell my sweet tooth.. but will try to do without for a few weeks just to see if it makes a difference. I am already long since off all seed oils personally..

    RUclips showed me this video probably because I've been watching a lot of carnivore videos. I tried keto a few times in the past and for some reason was not able to lose weight I don't know what it is that's keeping me fat but I decided to do elimination with carnivore take everything out except the meat and then slowly over time try different things and see what is affecting me. That being said I have recently discovered that the Food Industries have been adding sugar to things like Stevia. I'm devastated because the stevia I've been using for years has dextrose and maltose dextrin. I'm a label reader but once I find something I like I don't really look at the label again now you have to read the label every time you purchase because you never know when they are going to pull a bait-and-switch

    • @Stefanitza27

    I believe all diets work . If you are strict on any diet it will work . What ever works for each individual.yes some diets are absolutely better than others . Also when dieting all folks have different goals . I’m not a Keto person ,but I do fast and try to get a well balanced diet for nutrition and anti cancer properties. Most folks try one means of a diet at a time . I’m an all or nothing type . Sometimes good , sometimes bad lol 😂. But what I do is try 2-4 things at once . I do a reduced caloric in take , I fast any where from 16-8 to straight 24 hours ,I also exercise regularly, one last thing is work on getting my body into thermic effects with brown fat … this last one is still new . The last time I went on a diet 4 yrs ago I wasn’t worried about losing muscle and lost 28 lbs in 30 days . Most important things are don’t go insane unless you can stay consistent over long periods of time …. This time I’m building muscle at the same time I’m trying to lose weight . I’ve only lost 30 lbs in three months .. like I was trying to say, it’s all about personal goals and the methods that each individual implements to get their goals is how fast weight lose works … stay away from bread , liquor, and sugars … it’s hard at first , but the craving leave once those items are gone for about a month or two .Gl to anyone that read this and may God bless you and everyone you come into contact with :)
