Have seen Leheka already serving with 145mph, that is an awesome spead and a really good weapon. Unfortunately, he is a bit to in-consistant, but still young and enough time to work on this...
nice job! would love to see u make a USA trip...if you can squeeze Houston into the mix, I have access to a private court and have some great training partners to get in some great tennis! you could produce a lot of great content here...perhaps piggy back that into playing in the river oaks clay court tournament (ATP)! can cover your lodging...keep up the great work!
Please keep up with your content since I absolutely love it! Also, I totally agree with your comment about how the top world class coaches look at your pan-cake serve as on opportunity to add to their players service prowess. I am trying to learn it so if you can add a video on it I think lots of players will appreciate it. Lastly, your channel is by far my favorite. Can't wait to see you in the top 100 soon.
Quality video with analysis again. Thank you for doing this, gives us opportunity to learn from you without being able to play/practice against players of this calibre. This is gold. We have enough tennis channels explaining forehand and trying to sell you a course, I feel like this brings more value.
Wow, amazing. Very impressive Simon. I would only say that your racquet lag and drop is a little lower than today's "new gen" players but at the same time your spin and consistency can benefit from that idea, which I'm sure you're totally aware of it. If your confident about the progression then why not drive through a little bit with less elbow flex and see how it goes. You're doing fantastic regardless and I do agree with you, ranking is a funny thing to be honest, since the variables are not just about you being a good player and having the most effective techniques and so on. Hope you're doing better with your ankle. Cheers! M
Tjena! Great video :) And yes, just like you said, he is going for a clean drive on both sides, clean hitting, while you're wrapping/brushing the ball a lot, even on the double hander. Perhaps more clean flatter contact with just covering the ball after impact on the forehand side, and from there your stance, footwork, mass transfer etc should all clean up as well Also his higher swingweight and perhaps stiffer racquet probably help with more compact take backs too
I find it really interesting how you said the top coaches really try to gage if the pancake serve could be effective. I mean we do see the underarm serve being used so why not the pancake in similar situations?
It can be another weapon... Look at the under arms serve... Who would have thought that you could win so many points off of it? Players stand so far back now especially on clay courts... The first person I saw do this was Ivan Miranda I remember thinking... " He is standing one foot from the back fence" So guys are sneaking in a "drop shot" serve... 😮😊
He was able to return your pancake serve... The next one you hit much better, don't know if he would have got that one? Looking at it though his returns were sick!!
I noticed that you choke up more on your grip for all of your strokes. I'm assuming you do that because you get a more stable shot with more control? I've noticed some players are either way down with their grip barely in their hands and then choked up there.
My friend, i noticed when you hit your forehand you kind move your upper body to the left and out, mostly when you try to hit it with a lot of spin, instead of keep it firm or forward
he is a beast, He will win a slam. He has just some mental problems (not problems, but just doesn't play like in practice). In practice he is an animal.
@@Roman-cf8qf this is a old video from the stockholm open last year, I believe he used a pro stock blade v8 until a month ago. he is now using some blacked out racket appearing to be a 100sq inch

That's so nice of you man. I'm a fellow tennis player. I would like to thank you for supporting a tennis player

I just met Jiří lehecka at us open amazing meeting him I’m also Czech
Lehecka is a great player! I had the opportunity to watch him live as ball-boy for the Winston-Salem Open and he was majestic!
Wow, amazing.

I miss playing on that court, my childhood club. So much history on it
Its amazing that the levels of tennis are or seem mountains apart.. if it’s an ambition of yours Simon then keep on climbing buddy!

Incredible angle and video, shows the crazy balance jiri got damn
Nice job
He looks like a more agile Berdych. Huge groundies, overall good serve... physically very strong!
Great video! Where’s the blade?! Did you use the retail or pro?😊
kyrgios made the underhand popular. hope someday the pancake will reach the same lvl

He is one of my favorite players because BERDYCH is my favorite of all time and thats his coach now.
I'd love to see some pros use the pancake serve. I mean, it's way better than an underarm serve, so why not?
I think Fritz has done it once in a exhibition match or something
No jo, Lehečka nás teďka tahá v tenise xD
Macháč hraje taky momentálně velmi dobře....
This is my DREAM!!!! I hope to hit with a Top 50 player before I die
Simon...If u are so good papi...why u not at US open ?
you need to practice with ben shelton and try to return that 147 MPH serve...
he is a beast, He will win a slam. He has just some mental problems (not problems, but just doesn't play like in practice). In practice he is an animal.
Pretty sure Simon will get a little embarrassed and thank you when he reads this
Jiri? Win a slam??? D doubt it. He will a 2-3-4rd player tops
Thats too much bruv
what racket did you switch to?
Looks like the Wilson blade 98 v7 to me:)

Wow at the US Open he loss 3-3-3 to Aslan Karatsev #77 but he is way way better than his ranking especially on hard court!!!
How about his legs?!?! A lot of good pop must come from those strong legs
Crazy strong!
you should do a video on how to hit the pancake serve(please)
he did, i think
Lehecka has really good skills, but no eggs
Old Video? Lehecka plays with the old wilson paint job?
Yeah going down memory lane :/
3:22 In or out?
Nice pancake serve against atp 29, your journey is inspiring trying to do the same on my YT CHANNEL
your racket grip is a little odd, you seem to hold it a little higher than most on the forehand, I see more of the buttcap I feel
i am sure i can take a game from him no one can stop my serve at my home club my wilson hammer just destroy with serve.
