Funny how tennis has a secret knowlege base. I played rec/hacker tennis for 30 years and semiwestern serves, flat or spun, never came up in conversation. I know I would have used it.

It just blows my mind that a 28 years old guy that sits at 160 in doubles worldwide (obviously an extraordinary good tennis player) retires from tennis because of financial and lifestyle reasons. How can a sport that popular with so much money in there not provide enough money for at least the best 1000 players. The money is there it just doesn‘t get to the players. We gotta find a way to make this sport more attractive with so many other racketsports (padel in europe, pickleball in the usa) emerging, tennis will lose a lot of its popularity if we don‘t make sure to keep tennis interesting financial and lifestyle-wise for the players. Anyway, Simon thank you a lot for your videos. Always a blast to watch them. Me personally I‘d really like to get more understanding of the financial side of the players if you could make a video about that.
