oh, that tie breaker point at 8-7 was insane. maybe the best doubles point i have ever seen. ever. since i started watching tennis is 1970.
And the reflexes on match point a minute later!! Best breaker ever!! haha
Your partner's backhand volley is insane, it looks so simple and effective but you don't really see many people that hit it like that! Also I can't believe some of those defensive points you won, GG!
Piece of art!
The amount of touch and feel the both of you possess is out of this world. I love to watch and learn how to play elite doubles from you.
Super job, guy's, digging in for the WIN!!
Incredible match. Great job! Thanks for sharing the journey with us!
You and your partner make a terrific team. Great job!
Great win. First opponents quite on your level for some time here and I imagine making decisive shots with strained abs very challenging! I cringed at some gets and volleys thinking of that. Well done!
Soon as I saw Hildebrand knew this match would be insane. Watched that guy play in person a few times and man is he a headcase ! Great match
Brilliant game, very well played both of you!!
Damn!!! I was nervous until the end. Super good video Simon, thank you❤😊
Will you ever play with felix from tennis brothers again?
What’s the benefit for him?
@@heavygamer9511exactly. They aren’t at the same level, at all.
@@kylepiscitello8889 they aren't? who is better? Aren't they both playing ITFs?
@@azimuthal1392 Simon is much better
@@kylepiscitello8889 I agree he's better at doubles, though idk if it's by so much. At singles I'm not sure
insane doubles, great watch. well done
The top spin lob! Beautiful
Great video. Stayed tough and pulled that one out!
Nice match , Welcome to Florida. Live in Orlando, if you guys get this way to play make sure you post, would love and come see you all play. Well done
Wow! Beautiful match, congratulations!
Crazy match. Great that you could get so much out of yourself while injured too.
Awesome match. You guys have crazy fast hands
Great win. New to the channel and really appreciating and enjoying specifically the doubles content as a newer trainer myself.
I am teaching a lot doubles, really enjoying learning more about it. Question, about a specific moment. You fought hard to get in a winning situation. The last tiebreaker at 9-8 had a double fault but bounced right back to make important shots to win the match.
Can you speak at all to the mental process or doubles conversation in this important high pressure moment? These are the difference makers.
Thanks for all the content!
Hey Michael! Welcome to the channel :) doubles faults hurt for sure, no matter the circumstance, but most important part is to focus on the long term process- try and do the right stuff and control things you can control (intensity, shot selection, focus), and then let the results play out on its own 👊 will look to create some doubles guides very soon’
One of the craziest sports wins ive ever seen, crazy volleys from both teams
Do you keep spare balls for the inevitable ball that bounces outside the fence? Or do you have to retrieve the same balls in rotation? Curious how it works at this level. Great video
Great question! If we lose a ball, the referee replaces it with a ball in similar shape to the other 3 (all players must say “ok” to the new ball)
You had some clutch lobs...in 2nd set, it set up the set point in the tiebreaker!
One of the few times the video title isn't hyperbole-what a crazy match dude!
Seemed like they had really amazing overheads, which definitely made it tough on you guys to play your crafty game but you guys clutched out a lot of those points anyway
Yeah for sure, was tricky having to adjust to not lobbing, which could be a great play in windy conditions
That was the craziest dubs I have ever seen 😂 it was 1-2 points difference!
9:46 bro sent the racket 😭
🙉
Well done, what a game, congrats!
Some of the defense in the match tiebreaker was insane
Amazing job done by you two way to hang in there and get the win
Congrats!
Man, here I'm waiting for the pancake serve in matchpoint and got the double fault instead 😅. Great match!!! congrats!🎉
😂😂👎
That was insane 👏 👏 👏 for both pairs.
You're 331st in the world, that's crazy!
Simon keep uploading ur the best ull get to top 50 one day bro!
Wahh crazy tie breaker!! 😅
Great win guys! Hey Simon, do you have any recommended reading/vids on positioning in doubles? Best of luck in the next round
Hey!! I’m gonna try to put something together for you guys 😃 coming soon 👊
@@Simon.Freund sick looking forward to it!
Damn, now I got sweaty hands. Congrats
What a match💪💪
Speed of light tennis. Warp speed reactions and intensity.
Brian Bros have been replaced!
Cheers and congrats on an incredible game.

Haha big shoes to fill there!
I was scared watching the final set tie break, genuinely nervous LOL
😅😂
NICE ONE
let's go!!
im gonna bring this match up to him
Damn!
Not gonna lie, I was going to come and throw some hate if you blew that 7-1 lead lol
Good win, stayed focused till last second.
😅
@@Simon.Freund it was intense hahaha so glad you came up with the win. Keep it up!!
Simon !! Normally how would u build up confidence and hold the nerves at matches?
Comes with experience and focusing on the stuff you can control! Try to follow the gameplan and execute to the best of your ability, then accept however the results play out 👊
Sweet lobs
6-0 in breaker......needed the margin. LOL. Carry on
🙉
I wish my volleys were that good
Work in progress my friend 👊
12:06 that second serve was on the line :(
In i kaklet Simon!
Trey hilderbrand is my coach
Haha send it to him!! Was a blast playing vs him
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Question how many atp points does a 25k tournament give for the winner?
25
Are you gonna transition to doubles only? This seems to happen to a lot of would-be singles players who don't get the singles results they're looking for but start having some success in doubles
I love you bro, but cupping is pure BS :/
Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Plenty of athletes use cupping and I’m sure they’re more diligent about what they do to their body than you are
Boring doubles
