First you guys, now Karue beating first seeds in tournaments, going deep in the ranks and providing the best RUclips tennis content there is. Be happy with how far you guys have come and take things one stroke at a time. Just like Borg did. 👍
You guys are such a respectful and polite team, you didn't deserve that behaviour from the crowd. You made some terrific points and didn't receive a single clap. I mean, obviously the crowd may support the local team but i believe they could be more fair with you. However sometimes heart can make you blind. Good luck for next journey!
More great content, thanks again for posting! Tough match. Those guys really took control with their groundstrokes. They really could crush it back there and it looked like they had good serves. And obviously they are so comfortable on clay...On a random note, the guy fixing his hat at 2:42 is a little much in my opinion.
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Brazil! Unfortunately I couldn't be at your match, it was definitely a bummer when I found out you were playing. I live in the same city Demoliner grew up, 100km away from Sao Leopoldo. Personally I 100% disagree with the "bad crowd" comments. It's Brazil, playing against basically hometown guys. I don't think the crowd was disrespectful, made noises during services, etc. They just cheered for their guys. It's life. Keep up climbing the rankings! Hope to see you playing Grand Slams!
Simon, you should be very proud if yourself on this youtube journey. I have been a fan of u for a long time and with you all the best. You and Jo have been playing great doubles. Keep it up!
Great playing my dude! I played today and I was serving good, but I missed a few easy volleys that were crazy! I dumped one into the tape, and another one I missed wide. I had to get back in the set with an ace down the T, and a good serve on the ad side to get back into the set! Why are the easy volleys the ones most players miss, and the hard volleys go in? It’s crazy how a little tennis ball can make grown man look so stupid! I have been taking a page out of your book on return of serve and I am returning so much better. I have been watching your return of serve and you make it look so easy! I am currently ranked 7.8 billion in World, and with hard work and a few more years I should be ranked 7.7 billion in the world. Do you think I can do it? 😊 great match my dude. I love watching you play. Good luck on your matches my friend.
As you mentioned the key word "experience". As you guys are experimenting with different shots, lobs etc you'll get better against super hi ranked players...I can totally see it. You both did amazing regardless. Cheers! M
Well done, Simon!!! Great to see you here in Brasil, welcome! But I have to say that I completely disagree with the comments about the fans. They were not disrespectful or disruptive to the game, they were simply supporting the home boys. And remember that we are talking about Brazil, a country with very little incentive for an elite sport like tennis. We have very few opportunities to see Brazilians playing, so we value every moment. Anyway, I hope you enjoy Brasil!
oh so close. 4-5 key points and the match flips. i saw you working harder at being a presence at the net - good on you for pressing yourself. its not easy when you first make changes.
They just caught you guys out of position on key points. If you guys made those key points you would have won the first set, and the second set they were just returning out of their minds! You guys will get better the more you play together.
Some small advice. If it is possible, please bring the camera a little closer to the Court because you really cannot track the ball well in this one. Still a great Video. Love from Germany!
It's Brazil, playing against brazilians. And not only brazilians, both grew up 100km away from the tournament site, so it is really "home crowd". In Brazil, playing against brazilians, it will always be a "Davis Cup" athmosphere. Nothing personal, the other guy just will need to be able to feed his energy from the fans tears.
Spoiled myself and looked at your more recent results. Not going to say anymore until you release those videos. They need to fix ingildsens bio. Says he's 0'6. And you guys need to get your pictures up there somehow. Deserves to be there especially given both your doubles rankings

I think you did really well Simon! One break in both sets so not so bad against the 2nd seeds! Always great to watch your videos! Thanks!

I'm Brazilian and I follow your work as a double player, sorry the fans aren't fair.
The Proton Ball Machine is only available in the US?😢

Your ball is always lobe, you can not penetrate the defense of your opponent.
Wow, this crowd is the worst. Complete silence whenever you guys won a point. Come on, people-just a polite little golf clap!

The crowd was deafening when you guys won a point - not…
I am not sure what you wanted them to do? They are in Brazil playing against Brazilians. They didn’t seem disrespectful to me
