Ultra Pro Wrestling is literally the best game out of this bunch and was what AEW Fight Forever was supposed to be. The game looks incredible as if it was made by the guys who made No Mercy back in the day. Im buying this day one! I hope The Wrestling Code is great because that has a lot of potential

UPW looks to be paced a tick slower that FF, but otherwise I can see them playing similarly-which is a good thing! No Mercy is my favorite game to this day, I can’t wait! The Wrestling Code hopefully drops more news soon.

The World was kind of lacking in features as well, and that was a Sony PS1 game, yet it was also the best wrestling game on that system besides Fire Pro Wrestling G, so it is unfair to criticize AEW: Fight Forever for that reason. Also, they could easily make updates to add new wrestlers, weapons, modes, theme songs, entrances, and such as well. I mean, if Castle Crashers, of all things, is getting an update literally 16 years after it was made, then I can hope for similar updates for AEW: Fight Forever as well.

Excited for The Wrestling Code, but the lack of updates other than roster additions has me worried. It’s a smaller company and they signing a LOT of wrestlers. Worried they’ll either run out of money and have to shut down or all the money will go to the roster and nothing else.
Yup even opening video animations are the same. The taunts, the "staredown after collision". ALL has been ripped off from an N64 game called Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. It never came out in USA. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd love to see a wrestling game where the idea was not to win the match, but to work with the opponent to get the right result with the most exciting match possible. You'd need to have controls to sell moves for example and a way to switch between the heel heat and the comeback, or selling for a hot tag... Everything wrestling game is just a beat-em-up in wrestling clothes, I'd love to see something try to deal with what pro-wrestling really is

In the career mode, you’re instructed on how to take bumps to build the match’s rating. It’s a pretty good game, I recommend it if you haven’t tried it yet. 2D graphics though if that turns you off
I wonder what happened to the death match game that was loosely based off of CZW that was in development around the time of the wrestling code’s development? Also with Diamond Dallas Page in TWC, I wonder how many variations of the Diamond Cutter were going to get?

I'm a little bit concerned that every animation in Ultra Pro wrestling looks like it was literally lifted straight out of the N64 WWE games. I hope that's not the case and they're just doing that for now until they can make all their own animations.
All the AKI animations + brand new ones will be included. There’s a DLC roster of over 70+ wrestlers - most of which have moves that have never appeared on those classic N64 games 🎉
I would rather ultra pro, and wrestling code take at least another year in development. They both look like they need work. Especially the Wrestling Code. That in ring stuff looked bad.
the ragdoll in casual pro wrestling is really bad. there's nothing fun about seeing ugly animations that look really unnatural. maybe if it were gta level of physics it'd be fun.

The problem with wrestling games is that the majority of the consumers are a bunch of ignorant, entitled & disgruntled WWE 2K fan's that think other wrestling games are supposed to copy their format, modes and match types,story mode etc & they simply can't accept a game for what it is and then you have the fanboy RUclips channels that do nothing but Bash any and everything that isn't WWE & literally tell all of the sheep out there to not buy whatever game it is because they think that they have the answers for everyone & everything 😉...Instead of just playing games and having fun people would rather sulk like a bunch of spoiled big mouth brats and talk a bunch of toxic negative, nonsensical garbage 🗑...On another note great videos 📹...👍🏾

I already have Fire Pro Wrestling Returns on PS2, Fire Pro Wrestling World on PS4 and physical copies of both Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 and WWF No Mercy...these games cannot hold up to those.

All of these look trash, in my opinion. Between Wrestling Empire, and 2K24 - none of these have a real place in the ring, so to speak. Fight Gorever could've been decent, if it wasn't being published by a bunch of idiots that have no idea what they're doing. The core gameplay was great, the game just lacked content hard. I'm hoping we eventually see a sequel with all the complaints addressed and a single season pass, not 4 over a year.

The animations are ripped from AKI's games, which is probably why everyone gets that feeling. Cool product though
