Its almost shocking that compared to SD1 through SVR 08 a constant stream of evolving, the 2K games are consistently bad. I think we can all agree your top two choices are everyone elses top two lol idk about 24 being number 3 lol it'd definitely rank it lower but watching your vid made me realize how bad this series is. Its almost like none of them aside from 19 & 14 are replayable.
@@Jay_Digital yeah, the lack of change between games is disappointing compared to how it used to be during the THQ era, but that’s how it is for all annual sports game releases nowadays. Hell, I don’t even think 2K19 or 2K14 are particularly good games and they’re my top 2 2K games lol
@@MainEventMinute I would say they're pretty good. 14 was probably the last game where you didn't have to rely so heavily on community creations. The game was pretty enjoyable with what it gave you out of the box. While 19 I believe was an incredibly good match simulator especially with tweaked sliders and upped difficulty the issue the game had was it was limited in other aspects. It really depends on what you did during 19's run and still having access to your game save whether or not its replayable now. For example during 19's relevancy I had the game loaded with WCW and Attitude Era wrestlers and arenas I was heavily into uploading creations myself during that games run I believe it getting an extra 2 years made it more memorable for people. I still go back and play it here and there and every time Im just like "man what happened?" They really had something with 19 the series really went down worse than before after that.
Cena turns heel on December 29th, Monday night raw main event Cena vs Rhodes for world title, Cody wins, Cody shakes hands with Cena, Cena aa Rhodes and brutalizes him and takes Rhodes out for 6-9 months, summer slam 2026 Cena vs Rhodes for world title making Cody a 3 time world champion and Cena retires night after on raw

honestly as much as im gonna be sad to see cena leave..i dont think he deserves a title run..it would be fuckign pointless...it would jsut be another show of the old timers who dont know when their dry overshadowing the future of the company time after time..even if he wins he would hold it for an insultignly short time for a legend like cena since he has to give it up anyway to quit..

2K19,2K14,2K24 easily. I feel like 19 felt realistic in the sense of match pacing. Only thing i dont like about 24 is they dont stay down long enough they get right back up instantly. In 19 and 18 they sold really really good like irl
Yes I liked 2k24 but when i play 2k19 it's just felt like I m watching really T.V it's just felt more good...and real sometimes.

I played this game specifically because of all of the praise on reddit and I was so disappointed 10 hours in. Its legacy really benefited from the pandemic like most sports games of the time. I dont feel too many harsh feelings towards the game though because I like the idea of it helping people through such a hard time, but I do resent people who act like it is the best wrestling game of all time
@@kanone_69 thanks for the well thought out response! I think you nailed it, people rightfully appreciate 2k19 for how it held down the fort in a tough time. But to praise it as a classic or one of the greatest wrestling games is just outlandish. I don’t think it’s even top 10.

@MainEventMinute they aren't perfect and some renders are.very low res. But they work, occasionally glitches. Can't get music mods to work yet though
They should have a my eras like NBA 2k where you can start either in the Golden era, new era, attitude era and ruthless aggression era.

Fair play for finding positives, from my perspective paying £50 for a game like this that isn't worth half that even if you include the DLC, it's majorly disappointing and I say this as a big AEW fan.

the ragdoll in casual pro wrestling is really bad. there's nothing fun about seeing ugly animations that look really unnatural. maybe if it were gta level of physics it'd be fun.

I only played Raw 2 when i was growing up. I spent hours on this game after coming home from school, and listening the music playing in the main menu. I think on my old xbox i created around 20 custom characters and even was was more fun was making there entrances and that xbox can allow you to rip music from the music library to add in the entrance, there are some funny move animations that i thought was funny. Seasons i really enjoyed playing and was excited when i got a title. When it comes to matches i always picked Nick Patrick at a referee, he counted the slowest.
