- In this video, we take my Relations Race Wheels RS2s wrapped with 37” Nitto Recon Grapplers, and stuff them onto my 2024 Toyota Tacoma. We then attempt to drive it, and it goes, ok?

I agree with your wife about the black wheels, they make that blue hue show out more on the paint.
35 and 37 are probably one of the best size to slap on a Toyota rig, really on any rig. the Taco looks nice with the Bronze on 37's.
33's or even 35's with the lightest tire /wheel combo for sure in OG polished aluminum!!👈👌

The bronze you're running is a colder temp bronze so it doesn't clash with the colder underground hue too badly. I think if you can get a similar colder gloss matte grey or similar finish black would look great. I would personally go for some Volk mag blue te37's with 34 or 35' with minimal poke. Excited to see the decision you make!
Stuffed like a Turkey on Thanksgiving Day! 37's will need a lot of additional work to make it "Come Together" for pure off roading! Gearing/lift etc, but 33's in my opinion are the perfect balance of style, performance and off road capabilities! But for that eye popping candy, you can't beat the 37s!

If 35s will fit with the right width and offset and no major mods in the wheel wells, go with those. Matte black wheels, no doubt. As usual, listen to your wife! :)

As of tires, definitely get something agressive like ridgegrapplers or yokohama geolandar g003. Helps to finish the sharp look of the 4th gen tacoma

have been waiting for someone to dive into offset, looking forward to what’s coming to help me answer some questions while i wait on a truck to arrive. i have been shopping wheels, but want something that meets or exceeds oem spec with less weight to let that turbo sing a little more. the factory offset limits me a little. i am deciding between rays and relations…
this vlog style can be hit or miss for most channels. your recipe works well since you are not relying on a cohost to be firing on all cylinders every time the record button gets pressed. good charisma and very relatable discussion.
i didn’t think i would say this but the bronze wheels deliver the wow factor on a subtle delivery. bronze also surprised me because the colors seemed to pull in the front turn signal to be more in spec with the whole aesthetic.
satin black looked great, but i bet machined wheels would deliver the wow factor with a more intense delivery. i’m excited to see how much reflection the machined wheels can deliver…i hope they can pull in the blue hue from the underground paint.

I appreciate this comment so much! Check out icon alloys new RUclips video. They dive into offsets with different tires. Jeff Westcott does too with several trucks he just posted about too. I will try to document more as well.

With 37s, even if modded/cut and they would fit just fine, your range on a full tank will go down to 150 miles or less. 37s and tiny gas tank don’t really mix. 😃

Already have bronze on the tundra so might as well go black on the taco. I love the fact they take 37’s, I’d send it with the right wheel offset after the lift. If my 3rd gen could take 37’s without all the major cutting I’d do it, plus I don’t have $20k to spend on portals. 😔
Tundra will be getting some 18s soon and will not be bronze ;) yea man. Portals are great but $$$$$$
STEALTH CUSTOM SERIES - Bronze or Matte Black. Can’t go wrong with either.
RRW’s are typically readily available in contrast to SCS.

Maybe this will help. Every Underground Tacoma I've seen except for one that has been done at Westcott so far has had black wheels.

I think it looks great Jon. I also gotta say i'm glad you didn't take it out on public roads like Mark did. That would be a huge safety concern for you and other drivers without having full maneuverability. But i apprecate you sacrificing your fender liners to test it out for us.

I would go with 35s with +25 offset I wouldn’t recommend going any bigger 37s look sick bro 🤙🏾
Look cool but wayyyyyyy no functional.
With the weak drive train (TFL) in 4th gen taco's, I would not go beyond a stock tire. You may argue it is the ADD actuator made to break at severe offroading. First it wasn't a severe offroading. secondly, replacing a CV is 10 times faster and cheaper than fixing the ADD actuator. I got 4 Toyota 4x4's (hilux, 4R, LC and 3rd gen taco) and driven way extreme than what TFL did and no issues with drive train.
Im getting a 4th gen TRD sport soon. First time owning a truck and excited to mod it out. Would I need a lift kit for 33s? And if I put 33s does that put excessive wear on the truck or would it handle it fine? would also love a list of mods that Tacoma owners find essential.
Were you near Sam’s in Pinellas Park today? I saw my first 4th gen Tacoma when I was leaving Sam’s. Same color as yours. Looked really nice.

Not really. New electronic power steering seems pretty strong.

My opinion, bronze. I never liked black wheels. They wash out with the black tire. Wheels should stand out and make the look of the vehicle. I know I'm old school!

I agree on the black wheels, and while the 37s look killer, I think for practicality and drivability narrow 35s are going to be the way to go on these. Considering TFL was breaking parts with the stock tires, I'd be leery of 37s.
