tbh thats really how WCW was for its lifetime, literally threw away all their talent with extreme potential like Steve Austin, Eddie Gurrero, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio etc. just so they could keep the old guys from WWF on the main event. Hulk Hogan was an actual cancer to WCW.

I first saw Steve Austin when he was WCW US champion. I really liked his work, but he also got lost in the shuffle when the WWF guys came over. I remember some of his final promo's he cut, and he was digging into Hulk Hogan. I honestly think they would have had a good spod for him in a revised Horsemen with Brial Pillman, Arn Anderson Flair and Col. Parker. As good of a mix that would have been, would never have been as big as his WWF run.

  • @BigUnk85

Bishoff did Austin a big favor by firing him. If he would've stayed at WCW we probably wouldn't have ever seen the stone cold character and Austin would've been 1 of many talents wasted in the business.

I'll admit there are some awsome wrestlers out there, Sanmartino, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, The Dead Man, Hogan, Rock, Sting, Hitman, Randy Savage. The list is endless but my G.O.A.T is Austin.
