I heard one say the air in the lungs was likely from CPR but from what I’ve caught they didn’t even do CPR bc the baby was already too far gone and it was evident. If they did, there would have been a lot more people rushing in that room to help. And even someone saying that you can have air in the lungs as a stillborn, no they can appear to have air just like a baby who took a breath can look devoid of air. There were other telltale signs that this baby suffocated. Truthfully I’m shocked the baby didn’t bleed to death with how she shredded that cord. Ya my mom said she was given morphine in labor with me in 79. She said I came out a little high but obviously I was living. I was given Percocet while breastfeeding. My son is perfectly fine.

It was Alexee who volunteered that "nothing was crying". The doctor redirected Alexee and told her she'd need to be transferred to another hospital for post-natal care. Any further questions asked of Alexee were by her mother, and any statements made by Alexee related to the case were unprompted by police.
Oh please, she waived her HIPAA Rights the second she was willing to speak in front of the police to the doctor. This is common knowledge in healthcare. The same would go if it was a spouse, sibling, or a friend.
i'm not defending her by any means, but she didn't have a choice as to whether she spoke to the doctors in front of the police or not, she was detained and the officer says in the body cam footage that one of them has to stay in the room at all times.

I don’t understand how you can hide a crime going down under medical privacy. So many people failed this baby. Alexee is number one failure. But whoever the cheer coach is should have intervened. He or she could have arranged for some sort of meeting with Alexi to discuss a concerning medical issue, as it was so obvious. There was no interrogation in my opinion. The only one asking questions was her mother. There was a murder involved, so of course law enforcement would be present. Ridiculous in my opinion.

It should be seen by the jury. Constitutional protection I get but what about the baby's protection? She knew what she was doing and I hope she thinks of that every single day . If I was on the jury I would want to see everything. If not, how can you make an informed decision? She should not have the privilege having children after this. And, why did she not let someone know instead of hiding the baby?
The concern over her mom finding out, outweighed catching a murder charge, and no one but the doctor cared about that baby. The adults only were concerned about lying and deception -- something children of strict parents do.
Morphine is *not* going to kill a full term baby in thr amounts they'd be treating her for random back pain that didnt occur from a known serious injury. Look at those pics from her cheering.... everyone knew she was pregnant except her, if shes going to try to say she didnt. She is visibly pregnant. Unreal. Its going to be a shame if they cant use that video though.

I was given Morphine when I was in labor as did both of my daughters and both are alive today and I have 5 Grandchildren. This girl knew that she was pregnant and everyone at school also knew that she was pregnant and the calming matter if all the parents and the father her boyfriend know one asked if the baby was ok she kept calling it ( it ) she needs to do prison time for what she did.
I don’t understand how you can hide a crime going down under medical privacy. If that would be extended to other cases it would mean hospital staff could have no police protection from violent patients and would be unable to report on crimes occurring in front of them. This is total misapplication of law and sets dangerous precedent for protection of hospital staff

I was 19(just turned 19) when I had our first son. 25 hours of back labour. He is so loved. He is now 34 years old. Such a gift.
I still have questions. Say for a moment she didn't know she was pregnant, which she surely knew she was, and say for a moment that something with the drugs harmed her baby, which I highly doubt, but IF those two factors were true, WHY why why then did she try to hide the baby. If she really didn't know, but wanted to have the baby, she would have called for help or at least NOT thrown the baby in the trash to hide it. "Getting rid of it" says guilty to me. I'm not buying her story one but. Mother, too, guilty. Just like the guy in the video said, she never gave anyone a chance to even help that infant.
@@figgy7099 I saw a tiktoker post about a year ago, that the mother and lawyer are blaming the hospital saying had they not given her MORPHINE, that baby wouldn't have died. I don't know if they are still using that defense or not.

Is it just me or did anybody saw the whole case. The videos, autopsy report, toxicology report, and so forth. I dont believe there were any violations on both ends. HT, the head nurse, has prove that hospital did their job and followed protocol. Its all in video and interrogation with police.

Guess what, my daughter came 2 me @ 19 with a pregnancy test that was positive, I firstly asked her what she wanted to do, when she replied keep it, broke down in happy tears. I have helped her by providing most of the things she needed, and my grandson is the new joy of my life, her mother probably didn't do the same and here we are, with a lost life of someone who was special, could have been loved by many all because her mother didn't support her.

Believe me, I was scared to tell my mother at 20 I was pregnant. So unhealthy family relationships are nothing new to me. However not trying to seek out help for a baby and throwing it away is unfathomable. The consequences of murder would be more frightening than any bad parenting. Let’s say she did not kill the child for arguments sake, the Mother failed to get the baby help, she is not a doctor to decide if the baby had passed or not and decided to put the baby in the trash, at worst, she contributed to the babies suffering and consequently, the babies death. She deserves jail time. Age 19, she could make decisions and she chose the wrong decision. Very sad.

Also the video of her running to the bathroom holding her backside and then locking herself in there for over 30min is more damning than the interrogation. If she really “didn’t know” she was pregnant she could have let the hospital staff handle the birth. Morphine wouldn’t make someone run to the bathroom, give birth, tie the baby in a bag, clean up the mess, then throw a new bag over the baby so facilities wouldn’t see it. Then when the crime was found she cried like a child and played innocent. 😒
