    althought am not from uk I appreciate your efforts bro....some of this vehicles are being sold in other markets. there has been some cases of stolen range rovers being sold in kenya

    Why don’t JLR incorporate face recognition technology to their cars so that it makes it almost impossible to steal? For example, the owner can add whoever they authorise to drive, by scanning their face into the tech so that the vehicle can be driven.

      In principle a good idea but it will still need to be connected to the processor and ECU and it would just be a matter of time till you can clone that or just disable it

    Looking to change my Volvo XC60 and was looking into a JLR motor but the thefts are really worrying…

      It can be worrying but it's getting better on the JLR side but insurance is still an issue. Insurance has gone up generally but can be even more difficult with JLr

    Heard Mercedes and BMW they can order a new key from manufacturer all you need is the VIN no. 😂🤦‍♂️

      @@GadgetsBoy it’s how they get replacement keys for your car if you loose them - obviously someone somewhere getting backhanders

      @@GadgetsBoy hard cutting wiring that powers the starter/ignition system, Bluetooth authenticated relay via main telemetry unit - manufactures don’t like it (warranty etc).
      Even if a thief can gain entry and access CAN or Key, this stops the car from starting, they soon give up and move on
