Asalaamu alaikum everyone! My apologies I was a bit rushed last night as I was trying to get through my notes about our mother (ra) :) A couple of mistakes Ill begin with next week also inshaAllah: 1. Al Jamal happened in Basra not Madinah 2. The hadith from Abu Huraira that Aisha took issue with is authentic, but implications/context are what was objected to (which I'll explain next week as well inshaAllah!). We move on to Hafsa (ra) and Zainab (ra) over next two weeks. Jazakumullah khayr!

My Sheikh am praying to Allah that one day inshaa Allah I will meet you. I have made multiple khutubahs from your lectures here in Uganda East Africa. I sit down, I start writing each and every word that comes from your mouth, then I re write them in my native African language then I make them my Friday sermons. People here learnt so much from the lessons and the story of a monk who worshipped Allah for sixty years and then did Zina for six days and the Hadith continues as you elaborated. What you should know that your teachings are not just being benefitted from social media platforms but so many mosques else where are given copies of what you teach

I wish a male sign language instructor would be put on the screens during khutubahs because for some of people, the lady is a distraction and pulling attention from the sheikh due to her nice looks and the actions she does. And I think so many men are experiencing that only that we have no where to put our complaints and suggestions

In the Valley Ranch Islamic Research Center, where Dr. Omar Sulaiman gives his lectures, they have this Audio Video system for the audience where the sign language interpreter interprets “live-on-air” and is projected. We the international viewers see the same video on RUclips.
Mashallah, the community at VRIRC is so nice and wide selection of Umma. Like gems from every nationality.
My opinion on the matter is same and including your Dua’s and not offending VRIRC or Yaqeen Institute management as we are the beneficiaries of their sacrifices. I think only subtitles would be enough, if a sign language is necessary then separate channel with sign languages may be accommodated.

I don't know what I feel after listening to this. I have never known Hazarat Aisha (RA) like this before. She was an absolute legend. I feel so empty inside by just knowing that we are so far away from these blessed beings. May Allah guide us all. And a big thank you brother for reintroducing me with our blessed mother Aisha (ra). 😊 I'm 9 and I have been watching firsts since 7 years old. Hopefully I can MEET omar suleiman. I heard about a month ago that omar suleiman came to Toronto but I am in Ottawa so it would take 5 hours to drive! And I heard it late!

34 mins in, when speaking about Aisha RA giving away her grape and asking how many atoms worth are in that grape, did she say a word that translates to atom, or something else like another ayah in the Quran that uses mustard seeds to convey the same idea? (I don't remember which surah it was that had this)

This claim came from a narration in some Sunni books from ‘Urwah Ibn al-Zubair from his aunt Aisha that the Holy Prophet (SAWA) passed away while he was putting his head on the chest of Aisha. This narration is a fabricated narration and it contradicts with authentic narrations in Sunni and Shia books . Ibn Abbas, the well known companion, denied and refuted this narration.
as it is in Tahtheeb al-Tabaqaat al-Kubra (page 402) : Abu Ghatfan asked Ibn-Abbas, “did you see the Prophet when he passed away putting his head on the chest of anyone?”
Ibn Abbas replied: “the Prophet passed away when his head was on the
chest of Ali ibn Abi Talib”. The narrator asked him, that: “‘Urwah told
me that Aisha said that the prophet passed away when his head was on
her chest.” Ibn Abbas said: “do you have sense? Can you believe it? By
Allah, the messenger of Allah, passed away and his head
was on the chest of Ali Ibn Abi Talib.”
In the well known Sunni book Al Tabaqat al Kubra (vol 2 pg 260) Ibn Sa’ad said: The prophet passed away while his head was on the chest of Ali-ibn-abi-Talib.
Ibn Asaakir, the well known Sunni scholar, narrated in his book
Tareekh Dimashq (vol 3 pg 15 narration number 1028) that the mother of
Jumai’ ibn ‘Omair and his aunt both went to Aisha and asked her about
Ali. Aisha said: “you are asking me about whom? About a man who put
his hand, when the prophet was dying, and the soul of the prophet came
out on his hand and he wiped his face with it.”
This narration has also been mentioned in Majma’ al Zawa’id by al Haythami (vol 9 pg 112)
and also mentioned by al Zamakhshari in Rabi’ al Abraar.
The false narration claiming hat he Prophet put his head on the chest of Aisha was narrated by a well known enemy of Imam Ali (AS), ‘Orwah ibn al Zubair, who fabricated this false allegation because of his enmity against Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) . 'Orwah Ibn al Zubair fought against Imam Ali (AS) in the Bttle of Jamal in Basra and tried with his brother Abdullah to kill mam Ali (AS).
How can Muslims believe an enemy of Ali and leave what Ali (AS) himself stated? Ibn Abi Al-Hadeed narrated that Ali (AS) himself said(ولقد قبض رسول الله وان رأسه على صدري ) “verily the Messenger of Allah (SAWA) passed away when his head was on my chest.”
Nahjul Balagah, (sermon 197).
In Musnad Ahmad bin Hambal (vol 6, pg 300) Umm Salama,
one of the wives of the Holy Prophet (SAWA), she said: “I swear by
whom I swear, that Ali was the nearest to the Holy Prophet (SAWA) and
the last person who was with the Holy Prophet (SAWA) when the Holy
Prophet (SAWA) passed away, he was alone with Ali giving him secrets
and talking to him alone.”
This is also mentioned in al Musannaf (vol 7 pg 494) also in Kanz al
Ummal (vol 13 pg 146 Hadeeth number 36459) and also in Tareekh Madinat
Dimashq and also in al Bidaya Wannihaya by ibn Katheer (vol 7 pg 397)
