HemiStorm RC - Custom RC builds, painting videos and more Back in high school my German teacher told me that you could rent the whole country for a day, is that true? Lol
I drove an m977 a1 during my deployment in Iraq 03-04. Only thing missing is the crane mounted on the rear. Logged 25,000 miles in 13 months over there. Very Impressive machine. I now operate the m1120 a4 model. Oshkosh all the way! That rc is very well detailed to the real thing btw
I have the P802, it’s such a nice looking truck and does really well on most terrain. I agree about the controller....very poor quality. Anyway, nice review....only just found your Channel, some really good content. +👍🏻
Just popping in here now to say that after a year of owning one myself (bought second hand) the front shocks softened up a lot, giving it a nose down attitude which annoyed me. BUT... my fix for that was to dismantle the shock and, to my surprise and joy, my harder springs form a set of Boomracing internal spring shocks fit around the original spring, so I rebuilt the front four shocks, with those springs added and it sits great again. And doesn;t seem to have lost any flex, since both springs are moving freely past eachother. Beyond that, NEVER put a 3s battery in. It can take it, but it's -too- fast and you will shred drive shafts. But as a trail truck, it's great. One of my favs in my military lineup. (Only surpassed by the RocHobby MB1941)
There's a few votes for snow camo. In most cases, they paint them white with a really crappy paint, so over time the green shows through. Could look cool!
As a paint job idea, perhaps giving it a patina look? Like it’s been sitting outside in the motor pool for an extended amount of time, giving it that lite barn find feel when the GIs have to go out and do an inventory and find it with some surface rust and a layer of dirt and dust on certain parts? Or another idea could be that the truck once belonged to a tyrannical military and was stolen by rebel forces and given its own impromptu rattle can style repaint in the colors of the rebels trying to liberate the people from said tyrannical military. (Last idea was probably from playing too much Just Cause games and Mercenaries 2)

It was amazing how you closed the sides and door with your mind. Love this truck, looks very nice and fun to drive., thanks for the video.cant wait to see what you do.
In case you didn't need glasses, I think a current digital camo would look awesome on it! I think it will drive your eyes and mind crazy before you get it done, but how sweet it would look. Love the channel and keep the great videos coming! 👊😎👍🇺🇸

Do camo I want too do up one of mine. The 802 has even more detail due too trailer set up. I’ve got the 802 conversion kit to give me the option haul trailers like my 802 can. Awesome rigs 👍🏼 I’ve got big plans for these rigs

Another awesome video man, it's a great piece of kit, maybe I'll get one if they become a bit cheaper. I got my SBG baseball cap, it's a superb addition to my baseball cap collection. I had a sphincter moment when I got hit with a tax bill of 15 dollars Canadian, sooo it was a very expensive baseball cap in the end. I still like it though. What about a futuristic, post apocalyptic type of truck, i think it would lend itself nicely to that type of build, and a SBG builder will do it justice. 😀👍👍👍
Fantastic honest review as usual, great channel, Fantastic Rig, I would love something like this in my collection, can't wait to see what you do to it and your running video 😁
I am thinking of getting this truck & building a service type truck for my Yukon gold mining concern. Paint it CAT yellow, CAT stickers , etc....Also install a crane thats available from Bangood also.

Which is hard, because nobody actually sticks to a standard. This truck at 9th scale (like the Toyota Hilux body) would be nearly 4 feet long. Which is a little big.
I saw something similar decked out for expedition TranSiberian Expedition in Yellow with orange cover or solid living quarters would look good, I am not sure whether they were TATRAS or MAN trucks but on here there are some nice examples rather than keeping it military just a thought, certainly the way I would go, I would have preferred it to be 1/10th.
